46 Obergasse, 35753, Greifenstein
Been here?
This large, mostly level gravel parking lot lies on the outskirts of Greifenstein and is generally quiet, with few passing cars. It has a picnic bench, a small rubbish bin, a glass container and several large locked rubbish bins, but no supply, disposal or electricity. The castle and nearby hiking routes are reachable on foot. Avoid Edingen, where the narrow, steep route is closed to vehicles over 3.5 tonnes.

We stayed here alone for one night. Very few cars passed and the parking area was level. There is a picnic bench with a small bin, a glass recycling container and a few large locked rubbish bins. From here the path does not lead to the castle. In the village there is a delicious bakery and a playground for the children.Translating
As the author already wrote, it is a large, almost level parking area and nevertheless very quiet. From here you can easily walk to the castle and the adjacent hiking trails! The castle restaurant is highly recommended, with very tasty food and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the gravel area is very sloped, and it is not suitable for large motorhomes anyway.Translating
