Been here?
A spacious parking area by a German military cemetery, with a beautiful beach about 500 meters away. It is busy with local swimmers until late evening but becomes quiet at night, and overnight stays are generally peaceful. A dry toilet and garbage bins are available, while the beach has a shelter, fire pit, picnic benches and changing rooms. The area is accessible via a forest path; mosquitoes can be troublesome.

We spent a peaceful night here with three other campers. Until late evening, the parking area is quite busy with locals going swimming. Beautiful bathing beach. The military cemetery is worth seeing. The only disadvantage is that there are sometimes annoying mosquitoes.
Large parking area, busy on beautiful summer days because the beach is very popular and magnificent. We spent the night there in our motorhome, and it was very quiet from 11 p.m. Unfortunately, people leave toilet paper along the path leading to the beach. The cemetery is worth a visit.
A nice place for one night; very busy in the summer months, but it becomes noticeably quieter later. The toilet was acceptable. The path to the beach passes the German military cemetery; there is also a dry toilet at the beach. The beach is very beautiful, but unfortunately dogs are not allowed.
The path to the lake is very beautiful. Unfortunately, there is also quite a lot of toilet paper there because the pit toilet smelled extremely bad. You could smell it across the parking area.
We stayed here for one night. The access to the lake down the road is private, so take the forest path to the swimming area. It is truly beautiful, with a shelter, fire pit, picnic benches and changing rooms. A dry toilet is available at the parking area. The military cemetery is disturbing but worth seeing.
Beautiful place for one night. It gets a little busier toward evening, as locals walk their dogs here, but it is quiet at night. The walk to the cemetery and beach is highly worthwhile!
Spent one night, very quiet. The military cemetery and the beach beside it are worth visiting, about 500 meters away.
A short ride from Rovaniemi. A peaceful place with lots of space next to a forest trail, the lake is not visible from the parking spot, but is only a short walk away. Not much privacy, the parking spots are right next to the road. Toilets and garbage bins on the spot.
This was a nice quiet spot and worked well in the winter. The sunset from the beach ( that you have to walk too) was very nice.
Large parking area accessible to very large motorhomes. At this time of year, we were alone for the night. A small sandy beach with a hut for making a fire is 500 meters away (access permitted to everyone). Magnificent views of the Northern Lights.
Quite flat terrain, plenty of space, peaceful at night. There are bins and a toilet. I am not sure about access to the beach because it says it is private property.
Practical place for one night. Relatively level, with a toilet and bins. Through the forest, 500 m away, you reach the German military cemetery—impressive—and a small bathing beach with a fire hut/barbecue shelter. The parking area itself is just a parking area. In good weather, it is busy with swimmers in the evenings and during the day, but very quiet at night. The toilet is heavily used by swimmers.
We did not stop; the parking area is beside the road. Heavy traffic bothered us with its headlights. Packed snow.
