Hiking parking, water tap unreliable

Very nice place. Good sightseeing, clean air, not noisy. It is okey for staying overnight.

Lovely view in the morning of the hills. A lovely village with self-sufficient people. We had friendly dogs, cats, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, and horses who trotted by early hours of the morning. A few dogs barked but not too bad, especially with ear plugs. The mosque woke us up at 6.15am, which was very welcoming and atmospheric. We could not see the water supply. Close to Greece border.

Unfortunately, the water is not running today. Otherwise, the overnight parking area is okay. We had a pleasant exchange with the border police, who were waiting at the site in their patrol vehicle. When they drove away, they gave us a large, fresh, very crisp regional pepper and their best wishes for our onward journey. Wow, such friendly people—we were completely blown away.✦Translating

We used the site for one overnight stay. You can reach it directly from the main road. It is not necessary to drive through the village as Google indicates. We had a quiet night; a few cars drove past. Water and a litter bin are available.✦Translating
