Coastal stop, limited electricity

Not great—a simple parking area next to a busy road and near the port. Electricity is available, but not for everyone and only at certain times. Noisy at night. In short, it is useful in a pinch, but I will not return.

A nice parking area as described, quieter than the one opposite. Very clean, with exemplary waste disposal. If the wind blows inland, you may slightly smell the ferry. We know both sites in Dieppe; this one is clearly better. The walk into town is varied, and the new swing bridge is a sight to behold. Recommended.

Good motorhome stop within walking distance of the beach and town. The site offers everything described. We arrived without any problems, but shortly afterwards the entrance sign showed "full", even though there were still at least five pitches available. The electricity availability is limited to specific hours. Overall, a convenient and pleasant place to stay.

Intermittent electricity for €19 per 24 hours, with not enough electrical sockets for everyone, plus cars parking in the area—it is not great.

It’s so convenient! Just off the ferry, flat(ish), quiet, safe. So worth paying for.

Site with a beautiful view of the old town and arriving ships. Few electrical points, and electricity and water are available only at certain times. Therefore the price is too high.

To be honest since it's two minutes off the ferry and we arrived off the ten o'clock ferry it's pretty good. Wasn't busy, wasn't any electric points but I wasn't bothered. Was very quiet and slept like a baby. What more do you want?

A large parking area for motorhomes with waste disposal. There are only five electrical posts, available in three two-hour periods per day. If you park farther back, the ferry noises are annoying. It departs at midnight, and the next one docks early in the morning. Otherwise it is quiet and close to the centre, about 20 minutes away. The attractive town centre by the harbour has fresh fish in the morning.

Parking area directly at the harbour entrance. The ferries did not disturb us. With the right equipment, the water supply is not a problem. Not cheap, but perfectly located for visiting the town.

Unbearable noise at night from a ship’s generator in the harbour. Drinking water comes out only drop by drop—15 minutes for 10 litres. Too expensive (€19) for this condition.

A very beautiful view, but unfortunately not enough electrical sockets. Therefore the pitch is too expensive.

Parking on concrete, generally good. The problem is the electrical posts, with only two sockets per post and only on one side. The price is too high: €19 without electricity.

Adequate area; beware that some spaces are too sloping. Close to the centre for visiting Dieppe, about 15 minutes on foot. Electricity is available only occasionally, but I am self-sufficient and did not use it. Be aware of the ferry times; they did not bother me, but the constant rumble may bother others. €19 for 24 hours, €8.20 for 5 hours.

We entered, just long enough to look around and discover there were no toilets at all, neither private nor public, and that the water was out of order. After staying exactly half an hour and wanting to leave, we had to pay €8.20 to Indigo to exit. The operator refused to open the gate for free. The most expensive parking area in the world! Outrageous! Avoid it!

Adequate area, not far from the centre for visiting Dieppe. Ten minutes on foot along the harbour. Indeed, there is not enough electricity for everyone, but I am self-sufficient. Be aware of the ferry times; they did not bother me. What bothered me was the fencing—it feels like being in prison.

Positive points: paved pitch and a beautiful town centre with a superb beach. Negative points: the electricity is ridiculous; when the ferry is docked, its engine runs continuously, creating an unpleasant low rumble in the motorhome until 11:45 p.m. My conclusion: avoiding coming back would not be a bad thing. I chose this one because the barrier at the other one was not working.

€27 for one night and less than 24hours - absolutely fuming!!! Also quite nosy due to harbour side cafes across the way. The pitches are bigger than those on the other side of the harbour and can cater for trailers.

Very good for visiting the town, though a little too marked out. For the municipality, the price is somewhat excessive, especially considering that the electricity was not working today. When charging these rates, there should be a minimum level of service. Thanks to the new municipality for welcoming motorhome users.

The price is outrageous: €19 for 24 hours without electricity because there are not enough electrical points for everyone. The only advantage is being close to the town centre via the pedestrian bridge.

I chose this side of the port due to Pont Colbert being closed which adds a further 30mins walk into town. Very clean and, at this time of the year, good access to EHU. It is expensive but convenient.

Getting worse and worse for less and less. We keep coming because we love Dieppe, but €19 for 24 hours is outrageous.

Easy to reach, close to the city center. Clean, with enough space. Somewhat noisy at night because of engine noise. We had quite a strong storm, and then you are completely exposed. Otherwise everything was fine.

Always handy for getting of 2200 ferry pricey for what it is but thank you Dieppe the Boulanger is amazing

Fresh water is not really available; it is fine for a 5-liter container, but not for anything else.

The price is excessive: dirty area (rubbish not cleared), noisy (especially the spaces at the back near the ferry quay), intermittent electricity that must be shared, a trickle of water or none at all for services, and lots of street lighting all night. If all that does not put you off, it is well located for visiting the town, hiking, and enjoying the international kite festival.

Perfect area, but to get to the center you have to cross a swing bridge that closes when boats pass. We had to take a taxi to return to the area because of this. Quite a few boats pass through.

Large pitches. Close to the center with restaurants and shops. If I park near the harbor entrance and ferry terminal, it is obviously not quiet like a silent forest. You know that beforehand. There are sanitary facilities on board, so you have to use them. For one or two days, you can also use the electricity you have on board. Enough with all the complaining about electricity. We liked it.

Well located for late arrivals and early departures but at 19 euros for over 5 hrs it’s a bit expensive with no guarantee you will get an EHU. Grey / Black drop points. Disabled parking area nearest the barrier. Made the most of our overnight with a slow start and a visit to the bakery over the footbridge ! Dieppe is far less stressful than Calais and will be our chosen route from now on.

Spacious pitches directly beside a rock and with a view of the city. Unfortunately, it is very noisy because it is close to the road, city, and ferry. There is also quite a lot of traffic through the site from arriving and departing campers. Wastewater and fresh water are available. Very little electricity. No toilets or other sanitary facilities. Far too expensive for that.

Quiet place to spend the night. The only issue is that there is not enough electricity for everyone, and it is only switched on for 12 hours a day! Incomprehensible that the electricity does not work all day.

Stayed one night, convenient for visiting the town below and for a beautiful hike above the area. Quiet at night.

Noisy parking area because of its proximity to the ferries, but the spaces are spacious. The surrounding gates provide some security by making it difficult for passersby to enter.

We are regulars at this camper-van site, coming for the view of Jeb, the seafood, and the market atmosphere. But this time it was a cold shower: the price jumped from €12 to €19, and the electricity is not even reliable, working intermittently. At that price, you expect impeccable service—what a disappointment.

Unsafe parking area; our bicycles were stolen from the bike rack behind us last night. We heard nothing despite the thick chains securing them. They even took the ratchet strap and the other locks!

Stopped the night before our ferry. no issues with noise, easy walk/cycle into Dieppe. Didn't use electric as we only stopped the one night. But not many points and limited times available. Would stay again before or after the ferry.

Drove in at 10.30pm straight off the ferry before moving on the following day. Easy to get in, plenty of spaces, all of which are a really good size so felt we had lots of room. Water and waste included in the price. No loos. Easy walk into Dieppe for breakfast. Slept well, no problematic noises or disturbances.

Beautiful cathedral, many shops and restaurants in Dieppe. Large pitches for motorhomes and two disposal stations, plus several electricity posts.

A large open area with water-service facilities and large pitches. Electricity is available at only a few pitches; you need a double-socket extension lead to share. The access road is currently under construction. The town sells fish and is very lively. This weekend there are many attractions along the beach promenade, next to the other motorhome site.

A beautiful place, with the town within walking distance. Unfortunately, there are no toilets, but there is plenty of space, even now on August 4 while the whole of France is on holiday. Many beautiful old buildings, churches, and a Canadian memorial.

Very high quality parking, secure barrier access and fully fenced. Extra wide and long pitches. Ramps not required. Some electrical points available but we didn’t use, solar and batteries ample. No toilet facilities however I think most vans on here have their own. Grey and black disposal available. Site is perfectly positioned for both a walk to the town, and a short drive to DFDS check-in.

Very good, a little walk to the town center. Stop at the bar—it is better than the one opposite—the owner is very friendly, 200 meters from the parking area. €19 all-inclusive for 24 hours.

Dieppe is a very busy city, and “quiet” is a matter of opinion. Considering that the ship's diesel engines chug on until the middle of the night, there are too few electrical connections, no sanitary facilities, and the pitches are not level, €19 for 24 hours is steep.
