Shaded pitches, no showers

Very pleasant, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere. Even in high season, there are always a few vacant pitches! Not all electricity connections work, and live music can be heard from the neighboring campsite in the evening. But it is very quiet after 11 p.m. Small market in the beach parking lot on Sunday morning.

Nice, simple, and very close to the beach. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi did not work. There is a toilet at the roundabout—basic but clean—and greywater can be discharged on site. We stayed three nights.

We stayed two nights. It is a little expensive in high season considering there are no facilities; we paid €17.50 per night plus tourist tax. At that price, toilets or a shower would be nice. Otherwise, the pitches are spacious, shaded, and include electricity. Very close to the beach.

A peaceful place to rest beside an exceptional beach. We planned to stay one night and decided to stay two.

Ideally located, shaded, and very charming. But there are no toilets, Wi-Fi costs €6 per day, the ground is not very flat, our electricity hookup was broken (we connected to a neighboring one), there is no blackwater disposal (the description is accurate, but it is unfortunate), and the bakery, washhouse, and bins are in the village.

Perfect site, a five-minute walk from the ocean, with small restaurants, bars, and a supermarket halfway. Properly sized shaded pitches, clean and inexpensive! A tiny seaside resort for those who hate crowds! Really great!

The site's location on the app is inaccurate. At the roundabout, turn right; the site is immediately on the right, opposite the car park.

The location is fantastic. A five-minute walk to the endless beach. Otherwise, it is a parking lot with electricity for €10 per night. There is no toilet; the nearest public one is at the roundabout in front, but it was still closed. The pitches are very narrow. It was very quiet, although the two neighboring campsites were also still closed. Excellent opportunities for cycling and hiking.

Pleasant little stop near the sea, an interesting place for walks in the pine forest and for taking your mountain bike through the Landes woodland. We appreciate the peace and quiet, although many small details could be improved. Next stop: hitting the road on Sunday for our treatment in Eugénie-les-Bains.

Not very expensive, uncrowded, and therefore pleasant at the end of the season (closing on September 28). Quiet except for a few occasional barking dogs. Downsides: bins 400 meters away and somewhat far from everything, though a few rare shops nearby remain open. The €1 paid-water system suits me, but it would be much better if rinsing the cassette were free!

It is impossible to only empty and refill. What a shame. The short-stay rate of €5 does not apply in high season.

A basic pitch with greywater and blackwater disposal and electricity included. Fresh water costs extra. There is a toilet at the roundabout, but no beach shower. Nice restaurants nearby. Close to the beach. The location justifies the price.

Too expensive in high season, but that is how it is. At this time of year, occupancy is 90% German. Electricity is included for €22, plus tourist tax (thank you). Water is not included, so add another euro.

The reasonably level pitches are very narrow; the others are very uneven and sloping. Electricity is included in the price, while water costs extra—I would prefer it the other way around—and there is only one water point at the disposal area. Bins and a small Spar supermarket are nearby at the beginning of the promenade.

Nice site, good value for money, and excellent location; some pitches are small. The biggest drawback is that there are no toilets, showers, or bins! The service machine is annoying: for €1 it activates water for 10 minutes, but during that time you can fill and carry away a maximum of five watering cans, or you have to pack up and keep driving back and forth. The walk to the beach is fine. Plenty of restaurants and other amenities.

Quiet camper area. There are usually spaces available in the morning, but it fills up quickly. Some pitches are a little narrow and sloping. There is some shade from the trees. Electricity is available, and you can fill fresh water and discharge grey and black water, but there are no toilets or sinks. The beach has very strong waves and currents.

After visiting Contis (full) and Cap-de-l'Homy (full) twice the next day (also full) we decided to move on. This one had enough free spaces at 10 am. Great location close to the beach. Some shade from the trees. Electricity. € 1,- for water. Toilet does not count as it is way outside the carpark at the roundabout.

We stayed here for one night. From 11/7 onwards the minimum payment is for 24 hours, you can’t do the 5 hours then anymore. You also have to keep strictly to those 24h, a bit longer and you pay double. You can’t use the facilities from the campsite! There are public toilets at the closeby roundabout, but bring your own paper, it’s a bit shabby. Stay tho was calm and a good night rest

Less than a 10-minute walk from the beach, with some restaurants and a SPAR nearby. Dusty site; bring leveling blocks. The pitches are marked. The parking price includes electricity, greywater and toilet disposal, but water costs extra. We stayed one day and 13 minutes for two people and paid €36—a little expensive just to enjoy a beach.

This beautifully managed campsite offers separate pools, lively evening entertainment, spotless facilities, and meticulously maintained grounds. Our pitch was flat, well shaded, and had reliable power. Just a quick 5-minute walk to the beach, it’s an ideal spot for families and travelers alike. The kids will love the fantastic water slides. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Actually the most beautiful site of our entire trip. Very nice under the trees; the pitches are large enough and relatively level, though you can use leveling blocks if needed. If the lack of sanitary facilities bothers you, perhaps you should stay in a hotel. What was completely unbearable, however, was the karaoke nuisance from the campsite; they finally stopped just five minutes ago, at 11:45 p.m. Awful. Absolutely awful.

Excellent shaded area. Very close to the beach. Pitches are fairly level.

Excellent overnight stop over. Didn't use any services so no comment about those. Clear instructions at entry make access easy. Fairly flat pitches which are grass/sand but firm. There is no campervan parking available in this area, so it provides excellent access to the beach-short walk away. 'Garden in Woods' bar/tapas just outside Vielle St Girons recommended. We cycled there. Fantastic food!

They charge extra for water and there is not even a rubbish bin, in addition to the pitches being very narrow.

Great site, perhaps a little too narrow, but otherwise really excellent.

Good campsite in terms of value for money; it is a shame there is no regular water tap. It is absurd that you have to move your 3.5-ton campervan to the service area to get water with a token. The price is not the problem, but the inconvenience is. We stayed two nights, but on May 22 the Spar and the shop at the nearby campsite were closed. What a shame—we would otherwise have stayed a few more nights.

Some level pitches but most required chocs. As some have mentioned, it is noisy at night from other campers and locals staying on the adjacent site. Bring Earplugs. No on-site toilet and you are not allowed access to the camp site. The one at the roundabout is currently closed.
