Quiet forest, caterpillar infestation

Excellent nature spot. Of course there are no services; it is a nature spot. But there are picnic tables and bins. Two fairly flat parking areas, with some shade available. Very, very quiet, with forest trails. What more could you want? Accessible for motorhomes, but difficult for cars to pass each other; they will need to maneuver.

We spent two peaceful nights here and slept well.

We were alone tonight, and there were no processionary caterpillars nearby. Very quiet and easy to access: a flat track for 400 m, followed by a paved climb. Numerous trails nearby for mountain biking and walking.

Very beautiful and quiet place, but be extremely careful from January to April. Processionary caterpillars invade all the walking paths, even the parking area.

We arrived at night and were completely alone. Beautiful starry sky and animal sounds. Cold at night but no mosquitoes! From around 8 a.m., the first groups of hikers arrived. We left our pop-up roof open until about 11 a.m.; nobody was bothered by us.

Great nature spot! During the day you see quite a few runners and walkers, and in the evening nobody is around. We spent two nights here without problems; I recommend it. The fitness trail is fun to do. Clean area.

We spent one night here in August in a rooftop tent. Perfect—we were the only ones there, with no mosquitoes or flies! Just some hikers early in the morning around 7 a.m. The track has some gravel and potholes in places, but then it is paved, so no problem even for a small car.

Great quiet place in the forest with owls. A real pleasure and easily accessible.

Starting point for a forest fitness trail. Very quiet and in the forest. Picnic tables. No facilities for motorhomes. The road may be narrow for large vehicles. Beware: lots of mosquitoes.

Parking prohibited until June 30, 2024, from May 1, due to ONF tree-cutting work. According to a local resident, parking may be possible at weekends.

This is the second time we have spent a night here, and it is still just as peaceful and pleasant. Cradled by owls and woken by a symphony of birds! Beware: a municipal order applies from April 30 until an unspecified date, restricting access to the fitness trail and parking area. Forestry work is planned. The order is posted at the entrance on a metal barrier.

Quiet, but the climb is worth it for an old vehicle.

Very pleasant spot on the edge of the forest, very clean. The parking area on the left is more shaded in the morning. The fitness trail is very pleasant; we did it with our children. To reach the water point, follow the green trail to the sign indicating the water point. Great for the night—really quiet and secluded!

Very good spot. The road there is almost easy, with just a short unpaved section. On site, two very large parking areas surrounded by forest and equipped with bins. Clean and quiet at this time of year; we were the only two vehicles in the two parking areas.
