Riverside parking, overnight prohibited

Apparently the police were here yesterday and informed some people that driving on the field/forest tracks is strictly prohibited, as is sleeping in the vehicle.✦Translating

We were disappointed. It seems to be occupied by long-term campers; in any case, it was completely full when we arrived in the early evening. We were forced to park on the road in a lay-by. Cars show no consideration, children play in the meadow or next to the motorhome and race past us, absolutely reckless. We thought this would be idyllic, but unfortunately not, despite being a dead end there was a lot of traffic.✦Translating

I stayed there for 3 nights and the spot was perfect for my needs. However, I am completely self-sufficient. I quickly made contact with the campers who often stay here. I find that you can barely hear the motorway. You park here in a row, one behind another, unless you get a space right at the front. You can walk directly from there or start bike tours.✦Translating

Nice, quiet spot on the Rhine, ideal for walking the dog. Unfortunately, we had a local camper who, despite there being enough space, parked about 1.5 metres next to us and left the engine running for two hours in the morning. :(✦Translating

Absolutely average. There is ZERO peace and quiet, unless someone closes the motorway, which can be heard clearly instead of the Rhine flowing. Otherwise, there is space for vehicles of all sizes, direct access to the Rhine and a hiking trail for walks.✦Translating

Very overcrowded… The rubbish bins are overflowing everywhere. There are nicer places. Fine for one night.✦Translating

You can always hear the motorway and the boats on the canal. In summer, especially at weekends, it is totally overcrowded with people who cannot take their rubbish with them and who sometimes leave their excrement and food scraps in the bushes. Very, very sad.✦Translating
