Rua das Dunas, 4935, Castelo do Neiva
Been here?
This roadside parking near the motorhome area and beach provides simple, mostly level spaces. The nearby bars and summer chiringuito can produce very loud music, especially on Saturday nights, although some nights are quiet. There are no dedicated toilets or other facilities, but nearby beaches, restaurants, a minimarket, and a coastal promenade are available.

We spent the night; it was quiet. The motorhome area was full.Translating
There is only one tap for both water and the toilets, but that is still okay. The worst thing is the music from the nearby bars. It is Saturday night, so obviously there is a party! It is midnight and I have an unbearable headache; if only the guest singer knew how to sing... It is horrible. I can feel the walls of my vehicle trembling. I certainly will not be staying here again.Translating
Basic parking spaces directly beside the road. No toilets, and nothing else either... Not necessarily legal.Translating
Nice place with a beach. It is August and not very busy. Lots of parking along the beach. Promenade for walking along the coast. Beach bar. If you are looking for a place that is not crowded in August, do not hesitate to visit.Translating
Fantastic place, but there is a beach bar on Saturdays, at least in summer, with loud music. It is after midnight and they are still going.Translating
Full service area; we parked along the road without any problem. Very good restaurant nearby, whose owner speaks French.Translating
Impossible to sleep!!! Music from the nearby bar is extremely loud!!!Translating
The nearby motorhome area was full. As other reviews describe, it has been taken over by people staying there longer. It is better to use the parking spaces on the boulevard. Level spaces, a quiet beach and clean toilets, open only during the day. Nice restaurants and a minimarket with morning sandwiches within walking distance, and you can walk straight from your camper onto the beach.Translating
A quiet night without any problems. There were more caravans and campers all along the street, so it felt safe. I stayed on Saturday, August 10, and although some music from a nearby beach bar could be heard, it was not enough to prevent sleeping.Translating
During weekdays it was still very calm, good spot right near the beach. Toilets only open 9-19h, but clean and close to the parking lot. We stayed 2 nights, great spot, but it fills up during the morning. If you want to park there, good to arrive early. Showers at the beach are good. Possibility to empty the caravan’s toilet. Good seafood restaurants nearby, walking distance.
Very loud music tonight, Saturday, from the new beach bar. Horrible; I cannot sleep.Translating
Nice place, with access to the beach nearby. Quiet at night, with a tavern nearby serving fresh fish.Translating
Parking relatively close to the beach and dunes. We had a good, peaceful and safe night. Several motorhomes, a rubbish area and showers. Recommended.Translating
Quiet place. You sleep wonderfully. Beach access directly opposite. Restaurant nearby. Toilets cleaned every hour. Showers. Waste-water disposal. Eleven spaces. Quite a turnover of caravans. Highly recommended.Translating
A stone’s throw from the beach and the motorhome area, which has few spaces, so it is useful if that area is already overcrowded. Beach showers and drinking-water fountains. Clean public toilets, open only from 9:30 to 19:00. Restaurants two minutes away on foot.Translating
Very good place, except that there are few spaces and the toilet tap is the same as the water tap. Very quiet, with a basic supermarket nearby.Translating
Not the best place to stay. Vehicles passing by. Either use the nearby service area or Rua das Algas, where you cannot and should not put out tables, chairs, etc. Some residents have complained to the municipality. Camping is prohibited.Translating
I don't think the site has been completely finished yet. You can empty the toilet and get water, but there is only one water tap. The coordinates are a little misleading, the site is at one end of the football pitch on the opposite side of the road to the beach. Behind the camper van sign. N41.62614° W8.81666°
