2 Rue du Rempart, 26140, Albon
Been here?
A sloping parking area beside the Tour d'Albon, offering a magnificent view over the Rhône valley and access to the medieval ruins. It is suitable for a short overnight stop, although cars are numerous in the evening and morning. Nights are usually quiet, but dogs, the valley factory and early-morning rubbish collection can cause noise.

Good for one night. Lots of cars in the evening and morning. Quiet at night, just a few dogs howling now and then.
A great place to stop overnight with a van. It is absolutely not level, so you should be prepared for that.
Beautiful view at a hiking parking area. Good for an overnight stay, although the factory in the valley is still fairly loud at night. At 6 a.m., the garbage collection empties the bin. Waste disposal available; a small castle is within walking distance.
Good for a lunchtime break, with a digestive walk to the ruins and the tower.
Very busy place on weekday nights with young people partying. It is not level. Be careful with Google directions, because the first route it gave us was completely impassable on a dirt track; the second, through ALBON, was correct. Beautiful views.
Very nice parking area. You can watch the sunset well here. Waste disposal available. The only drawback is that cars pass by fairly frequently.
Rather quiet parking with very little traffic. The only drawback: since it was Tuesday, we were woken at 6 a.m. by the garbage truck collecting the large glass container, and at 11 a.m. for the regular rubbish.
Quiet roadside spot, but a meeting place for young people in the evening. Beautiful view.
We had a very good night without any noise. Beautiful panoramic view.
