Calm village site, paid disposal

A wonderful place to relax in a lovely town with outgoing people and everything you need, including a hairdresser and pharmacy ;-)

Very well-equipped site; it is one of the few in the area. Be careful, however, when finding the entrance. Payment is made at the town hall or tourist information office; otherwise, put the payment in an envelope and place it in the mailbox at the entrance.

Beautiful and quiet place. Bakery and supermarket just a few minutes' walk away. Great starting point for very beautiful hikes. Be sure to try the footbath next to the mill. We stayed here for 2 nights and felt comfortable.

They charge €5 just for waste disposal. Seriously?

Everything is good and the people are nice. There is also a petrol station in the village. Water supply and disposal, and even electricity, are free. The facilities can even be used if you are not staying there. Please also pay if you cannot get to the tourist information office in the town hall. Trust should be rewarded. Good walks are possible. Large vehicles and dogs are welcome.

Well-cleared site; we were here during heavy snow. There is nothing to add to what our previous visitors wrote. We will come back in summer.

Arrived in the early evening; everything is well explained for payment. Very pretty town, magnificent with the Christmas decorations. We will return in another season.

Ideal for families with children and dogs. There is lots of nature, a beautiful town to visit, and plenty of activities for the little ones all around. The place is clean and quiet; we will certainly come back.

Beautiful, quiet place. Shopping facilities only about 5 minutes from the site. Water supply and disposal are easily accessible. Pitches with grass as well as gravel. The lower pitches get little sun in the evening. You can also pay at a secure mailbox.

Again, as with many others recently, I do not understand why it is listed as a parking area only for small campers. There are few spaces, but large motorhomes fit perfectly because the pitches are large.

Clean pitches on a mixture of grass and gravel, fairly level. The cost is €16 per night for 2 people and the motorhome; money can be put in the box at the entrance. Additional people increase the nightly price. If you only want to fill up with water and empty black and grey water, the cost is €5, payable in the same way. Another parking area is signposted at the entrance in case this one is full.

I would like to agree with the previous speakers: a beautiful and inexpensive place. The site cannot be blamed for grumpy fellow campers. When we arrived, all spaces were occupied. Two motorhomes fit in the first space behind the motorhome sign. I read that there were two emergency spaces, but unfortunately it is not clear where to park; a sign would help.

Really great facility, very well maintained and quiet. The star-shaped arrangement with wooden tables and benches, with bushes between them, makes it cosy. A toilet and shower container would be the icing on the cake!

Camper area in a tiny, picturesque village. Idyllic location just steps from the centre, with grassy pitches bordered by hedges and flowering bushes. Water supply, disposal, and electricity included in the fee. You can pay either at the tourist office or by leaving the amount in an envelope at the entrance.

Everything campers need is available: the price includes free water supply and disposal, electricity, and a guest card for 2 people, which allows free use of public transport in the Black Forest. A local shop, various food options, and hiking trails are within walking distance. Beautifully laid out; the partitioning provides enough space from neighbours. Quiet location in the village. We do not need a shower or toilet, otherwise we would not have them on board.

Good and quiet place for a night no facilities besides water elektra and to dump your wastewater and toilet. We enjoyed waking up to the chirping birds. Nothing much around in the town but also close to other towns so good for a one or two night stay. We met some friendly people there who were able to help us out with some camper issues. Many people who have been there before.

One of the most beautiful places on our Black Forest tour. I would gladly give it 6 points. The pitches are spacious and nicely separated; benches and tables are ideal, and water supply and disposal are perfect. The well-maintained village and lovely landscape are ideal for relaxing, hiking, and cycling. Villingen is 15 minutes away by bus. Everything was perfect for us.

Always happy to return; thanks to the municipality and for the friendly welcome at the tourist office. Very quiet and a pleasant hiking area.

We only wanted to empty the toilet. When we arrived, the information said that you should pay €5 if you only want to use the disposal facilities. No thanks!!!
