Pont de St Pierre, 09000, Brassac
Been here?
A free, very calm parking area beside the municipal rugby stadium in a small village a few kilometres from Foix. There are no services, and a Saturday morning market can make the area busy. The river is immediately nearby, while a small supermarket is 2 minutes away on foot.

Quiet; note that there is a market on Saturday morning and no services.
Parking located in the municipality of Brassac, not in the municipality of Saint-Pierre-de-Rivière. There is currently a local territorial dispute because Saint-Pierre wants to annex this plot, and the mayor of Saint-Pierre complains about motorhomes... A Putin-style mess in progress, but Brassac is defending itself.
Do not rely on the photo: on some days the parking lot is filled in the evening by vehicles belonging to people doing sports on the field or in the hall, and it is very noisy in the morning and evening because of parents' vehicles and school buses. Quiet at night. If only some people would stop their filthy habit of dumping gray water in the parking lot! I see this far too often.
Free and quiet spot. No services. River immediately nearby. Small supermarket two minutes' walk away, with fresh bread and croissants, including pain au chocolat, and everything needed for supplies.
It is fine for stopping for a while to eat or rest. There is shade. It is opposite the football field. Lots of traffic and it is noisy.
