21 Via Aldo Moro, 71027, Orsara di Puglia
Been here?
This free motorhome area has space for 6 campers, with working electricity and water; one of its two toilets is currently open. The cassette-emptying tower is blocked, and grey-water access is awkward for long vehicles, especially around 3m high. Wild dogs, barking and dog waste can make the grassy picnic areas unpleasant, while coaches may also arrive. A quiet, attractive town with shops and bars is within walking distance, along a steep route.

It serves its purpose but it is unloved and is busy with coming and goings. There are wild dogs and although they seemed harmless enough there can be bouts of barking and their excrement is everywhere, making the grassy areas around the picnic benches unpleasant and unusable. During our stay coaches were parked opposite and had engines idling at 4am for half an hour. People use it as a place to park their cars and for delivering wholesale goods. Plenty of friendly tooting of horns from locals. We didn’t use the services other than to refill with fresh water. Easy walk to town. Ok as somewhere to stop when passing through but not a place we’d return to.
Quiet, free motorhome place with electricity. Two toilets, one of which is open. Nice picnic tables on the grounds. Within walking distance of a quiet town. Fine place for a relaxing overnight stay.
Area with free services, including electricity. As already mentioned, the black-water drain is blocked and access to the grey-water drain is somewhat inconvenient for long motorhomes. Quiet night. Very nice little town with all kinds of shops and bars. Recommended.
Excellent motorhome parking area, thank you very much to the council for this parking lot. Very nice place. Zdeněk Janáček
The metal tower for cassette emptying is completely blocked. You will only discover this when trying to empty your cassette. The waste will flow back out: disgusting! Other than that a nice Aire with water + electricity and quaint historical centre. The steep walk is worth it. Thanks to the community for offering this space, even though it could do with some maintenance. We cleaned up some litter.
Free parking area with toilet and electricity. A beautiful little town with a few sights. Thank you.
We spent two nights here, electricity working and free, water is working, unfortunately looks like the place is not being looked after properly, I couldn’t unload the grey water because the trees are not cut, so if you have a 3m hight motorhome you’ll not be able to unload the grey water. The female bathroom is open. The area with benches are full of dog poop. The city is very nice and the locals are friendly.
Looks neglected... somehow uncomfortable. We were immediately surrounded by several dogs. We drove on right away.
Absolutely fantastic place. The local residents offer a very pleasant motorhome site with everything such a site should have.
We can confirm everything described so far. Thank you to the municipality for a quiet, working place where everything is free. The toilets were open, in so-so condition, but we have our own anyway. Beautiful village! Recommended!
A small mountain road in poor condition to get there, but a pleasant surprise: water, electricity, and waste disposal, plus a village full of discoveries. Three churches, and don't forget to visit Michèle's cave at the bottom of the village. A few shops, but unfortunately they are only open in the evening.
Sleeping, water, and electricity were fine, BUT the chemical toilet and the toilets really need to be thoroughly cleaned by the municipality.
Excellent motorhome area for relaxing and visiting the magnificent village.
Excellent area, safe and quiet. Great town for walking around.
Good and safe spot, but the toilets were closed, but the lighting was a bit too strong. There were private cars parked on the camper slots owned by bus drivers who drived away around midnight. They parked the buses on the opposite side of the road. Also, not all benches were in a good condition.
The parking area has everything necessary; electricity and water are free, and there is also a fixed barbecue on site. We walked into town in the evening, about 10 minutes away. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The toilets were closed. Still 5 out of 5 because the atmosphere in the town was wonderful.
Small free motorhome stop just a short walk from the center. Too bad the service columns are not working. No electricity.
