The location is great for exploring the town, but it is a little close to the road and quite basic for sleeping. It is worth going just above it (take the road branching right uphill on arrival) to find a car park 100 metres higher, farther from the dumping area and with a view!✦Translating

To those of you who complain about foreigners, especially a certain user: stop being bitter. Thanks to many of them, villages that were almost empty are coming back to life, with tourism and commerce. If someone breaks the rules, they should answer for it, regardless of where they come from. They should monitor license plates because some people come and stay for many days without moving, especially foreigners. Soon there will be no room for motorhomes in Spain. They do not know what it means to travel around and visit more municipalities while respecting schedules.✦Translating

Arrived 10.30 Sunday and got the last space on tarmac plenty of space opposite next to railway. Road quiet lots of cyclists and walkers, rubbish bins emptied 11.30pm. Either walk back down road past garage and wind way through the streets to old town or walk above parking them down 23% incline steps or road - also use this route to go to the smaller rough beach. Lovely town for a wander full of bakeries shops restaurants, walk over bridge to large beach, promenade beach bars and estuary walk. Great stop off

Spent one night on 24/05/2026. Perfect: slightly set back from the road, clean, level and secure. The village is beautiful on foot, with a very long, peaceful promenade along the bay. Five spaces, all occupied. However, there is another large free car park just across the road where other motorhomes can stay.✦Translating

The motorhome area has five spaces; opposite there is a car park, but it is full. This is the second time it has happened to us that, due to the height and length of the motorhome, areas where fines apply, or overnight stays not being permitted, we have to leave for another place.✦Translating

We slept peacefully. The train does not run at night. You only hear the road, and the best thing is that hardly any vehicles pass at night. It is very close to the village, so it is worthwhile. The black-water area is very dirty, and the grey-water and fresh-water area is difficult to access with tall motorhomes because of a tree, but it does its job.

Full of permanent residents; beside the railway line, it is a noisy place.

Seniors;7.3mtrs;16/2: Short downhill walk to town and harbour, both worth a visit. A little further away over the bridge is a large sandy bay with halfway along a bar/snacks hut that is open in season only. Very little noise from road and even parking on the other side of the road next to the rail station is quiet at night. Thanks to the town, we spent our money there.

A good free stopover, quiet, clean water, and waste facilites available. We were able to walk from the park up to the village and to see the Tito Bustillo Cave Paintings (pre-book guided tour) at the Centro De Art. (AMAZING)

Great place to stay. There are two possible areas. One for 5 vans on tarmac and across the road there is a gravel area in which you can park. Becareful entering the town, signs direct you over the bridge to the other aire. You need to follow signs to railway station. Beautiful town well worth visiting

Very good for spending the night. Cars and trains do not disturb. One kilometre from the centre, and a very pretty town with a church, a long walk along the sea, the port and beautiful villas.

Small, very quiet area. It is beside the road to Llanes, but very good. For us, it was well levelled. It is elevated and there is a descent to the centre, but it is short. Pretty village. Thank you, town council.

I thought it was a very good place, although it has only five spaces. It is next to the centre; just walk down one street. The harbour area is very pleasant for walking to the open sea. We slept well; although cars passed beside us, we heard nothing until we got up. Emptying and filling are completely free. Thank you to Ribadesella town council. We felt very comfortable.

Area with only five spaces. The chemical-toilet drain is blocked. The road passes very close by, but despite all that it remains a good place to stop, visit the town and go hiking. Several routes to the Hell Cliffs start here and are highly recommended.

The three fellow campers occupied all five spaces. Several caravans passed by, but they did not intend to move their vehicles.

Official free motorhome area with five spaces, including services for disposal, water and rubbish bins. Asphalt, reasonably level, mostly sunny. On one side you are directly beside a busy road, separated only by a low wall, and there is also a busy road on the other side. It is quiet at night, but heavy traffic starts again very early, and continues until late evening. The railway is a little farther away, but few trains pass. The town is definitely worth visiting and is nearby.

In such a large and touristy town, providing only five uneven spaces is shameful. The larger car parks opposite have a height limit of 2.10 metres. It seems we are not welcome.

There is a service area for five motorhomes, and across the road there is room for about twenty. The last train arrives at 10:30 p.m. and leaves in the morning around 7:30 a.m. Be careful, you need chocks. Quiet and safe area, five minutes’ walk from the town centre.

Quiet, well-lit stop. Arrive early because it fills up; some areas have a lot of slope.

Incredible: ten minutes from the centre and harbour. The small area has five spaces, but opposite there is an open dirt lot that works wonderfully for visiting this beautiful Asturian town. I personally appreciate the town council maintaining this area. The chemical-toilet accumulation problem has been fixed; it must have been temporary. Good service from the town council. Thank you.

It served its purpose for emptying wastewater. I would not have wanted to fill with fresh water, as it smelled strongly of chlorine and the station did not look or smell particularly hygienic; it really stank. We do not have a chemical toilet, thank goodness, but if you do, please make sure it is not blocked.
