Been here?
This large campsite has around 250 pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents, with modern sanitary facilities and a daytime bistro. Fresh bread rolls, snacks, ice cream, drinks, activities, yoga and an electric-car charging station are available. The city centre and beach are 750m away. The separate motorhome harbour has been described as less well kept, with some pitches lacking internet or satellite reception and sanitary facilities reached by a longer path.

Unfriendly and far too expensive campsite. We paid €70 for one night for a small camper, two people, and a small dog. €6 for a small dog for one night, despite there being no facilities for dogs. We also had to pay separately for showers. Two stars because the sanitary facilities were clean.
The pitch assigned to us on arrival was occupied. The previous occupants had slept through their departure. We were then given a pitch without internet access and without satellite reception. As I depend on this as a digital nomad, and there was no information about it, only one star... and even that is too much.
We stayed in the motorhome area. It is arranged in a roundabout behind the campsite. Mature trees, which are not a problem. We paid €31 for one night for two people. Electricity flat rate: 6 kWh for €4 per day. Dogs now cost €6. Showers: 2 seconds for 1 cent. We had a very quiet night.
Nice campsite. Many free pitches for small buses/minivans at €16 in the 2026 high season, plus €12 per adult (€6 per child). Extensive and clean sanitary facilities. Washing machine and weak dryer. A normal, good campsite without much fuss, but with all kinds of useful services (fridge, phone chargers, sauna, small bistro, cinema, yoga, free Wi-Fi, etc.).
Our booking could not be found on arrival. We were given a place in the so-called motorhome area, outside the actual campsite. The sanitary facilities are accessible only via a hidden path. The motorhome area looks neglected, and the mature trees make satellite TV impossible. A dog costs €4.50 per day—why? There is nothing for dogs. We will not return.
Nice campsite. We arrived spontaneously and got a pitch. The staff are friendly and served us courteously. The sanitary facilities are also clean and orderly. The campsite has fresh bread rolls and also caters for food and drink.
A beautiful place that impresses from start to finish. I stayed for three nights and felt comfortable. The sanitary facilities deserve special mention: always clean, always toilet paper, and enough toilets and showers. The woman responsible for cleaning is unsurpassed. She was always present.
Clean, well equipped, friendly reception, and beautiful surroundings.
It was our first time at the campsite. We were delighted by the friendliness of all the staff. The cleanliness of the campsite, especially the sanitary facilities, was absolutely excellent. A big thank-you to the team. We will return.
Passing travelers can use the service and disposal facilities (€5). Showers are also possible, but unreasonably expensive (€11 per person plus water charges). Obviously, they do not really want passing travelers. The reception staff are very nice (except for one person), and the shower building is very clean.
I do not understand why a dog costs €5.50 per day. There are no special facilities for dogs.
The campsite has a separate motorhome parking area. You feel welcome here and your wishes are fulfilled. The site is directly on the Baltic Sea Coast Cycle Route, and Kühlungsborn can be reached quickly. The sanitary facilities are very clean.
We stayed here for three days. Very nice place. The pitches are very large. Everything you need is available. By bike, you can quickly cycle from one place to another. Everyone was very nice.
Had a 4 night stay in a VW bus with 2 people and electric hook up for €190,- in peak season. A fair enough price for a decent sized pitch. The modern showers and toilet facilities were mega clean with a crew rotating through them all day long. A smallish bistro with decent food and friendly staff. Wi-Fi for free but not of great capacity, that could be better. Would still recommend to others!
We always enjoy coming here. The motorhome parking area should be better maintained for the price.
On the separate motorhome area, €19 until yesterday in the off-season for two adults, plus €4.50 for a dog—we find that outrageous, especially as there are not even dog-waste bags. The pitches are very sloped beneath tall trees.
Large campsite with a wide range of activities, from barbecue evenings and live music to wellness—everything is available for the classic camper. Many families and dogs create a certain level of noise, which you have to accept. A minor drawback might be that the only washroom on the site, although always clean and well maintained, can be full at peak times.
We spent the weekend at the campsite and liked it very much. The sanitary facilities were always clean, and the pitches are very large and separated by hedges. There was live music and a barbecue evening; there is also a playground for children. We can recommend the campsite and would return.
Very friendly, good bread-roll service, and everything else you need is available.
Overall, our stay at the campsite was okay, but there are several points that did not convince us. Therefore, we give it 3 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, we did not like the location, and the very muddy ground made the stay more difficult—especially in the rain, when it became unpleasant. Initially, it sounded positive that only the rental bathrooms were open. In practice, however, they quickly became dirty when busy, especially after several consecutive showers. Better cleaning or more sanitary facilities would have been desirable. The friendly reception deserves major praise, however; the staff were always helpful and courteous, so we give them an extra star. Overall, a campsite with potential, but for us it was not worth more than 3 stars.
We have no critisisme at the place itself. BUT we payed for one night 40€ for a very small place for our campervan (WV California), 2 persons and turisttaxe (which was 4 €). Electricity, shower and other services not included.
Beautiful grounds, but personally too far from the beach for a Baltic Sea holiday with children. Otherwise, the reception and everything else were super friendly.
Large campsite, so with bad luck you may be far from the sanitary building. Wi-Fi is unreliable in the outer areas. It did not bother us, though. The site offers a lot for children. 500 m to the beach (cliffs). A 12-minute walk to the bus toward Kühlungsborn. Electricity flat rate: 6 kWh per day. We would return.
A campsite with one of the best-equipped sanitary facilities; they even thought of providing enough hooks for towels and so on. Everything was also in top-clean condition. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
Good campsite. We liked the pitch very much. The roads to the pitches could use new gravel. There are severe potholes along the road outside the campsite, and it is hardly possible to avoid them. The sanitary facilities were always very clean. There is a bistro and a small kiosk on the site. Dogs are welcome.
We stayed for two nights in the motorhome area outside the campsite. Some pitches are very narrow; we got one of the better ones. With a little maintenance, it could be improved, including visually. The sanitary facilities, however, were first-class.
Wonderful, everything friendly, everything clean. Great place. Everything is easily accessible by bike, including shopping in town. Only a plague of mosquitoes, apparently for years.
