2 Diseminado Contraparada, 30832, Murcia
Been here?
Spacious dirt parking area near the highway, surrounded by trees and close to extensive walking areas. It is generally peaceful, with no water, toilet, bins or other services, although military activity can bring gunfire and trumpet sounds. Some areas are difficult to manoeuvre around the trees, and vehicles up to 6,50 meters are recommended.

The parking area is very spacious, perhaps enough for 40–60 cars, with some easy areas and others where maneuvering is difficult because of the small trees. There is no water, toilet, bins, or rubbish collection—nothing but a dirt parking area and peace and quiet. There is a picnic area one kilometer away on foot, called La Contraparada, which is highly recommended; cross the wooden bridge past the ducks.
Quiet parking area with few occupants; walks in the park.
Beautifully peaceful place with an extensive walking area. During the day and at night there are many bird-of-prey and fox sounds.
Basically a quiet parking area with a green view. Somewhat remote. Unfortunately, it is also littered. The trees allow only one-third of the area to be used, and you cannot reach the rear parking spaces, so you have to turn around in the front area. Good for vehicles up to 6.5 meters maximum. Be sure to watch out for the trees. Observe the motorhome law: DGT PROT 2023/14 — camping behavior prohibited.
Wonderfully peaceful. Nature for walking is five minutes away, and I felt safe; there were no troublemakers. The road behind it did not bother me. I heard nothing from the military site supposedly behind here, nor from the train. I was there on the weekend.
Quiet place to spend the night, not far from the motorway. In the morning you can walk to the river.
I spent a very peaceful and reassuring night there. A couple in a caravan was also there. Unfortunately, there is no rubbish container.
Good place to spend one night. Close to the motorway. Quiet, level ground. No facilities.
Good parking for one night. It is true that this was not mentioned, but a military zone is right next to it. The sound of bugles and gunshots may seem interesting at first but becomes annoying later, especially during working hours. Be careful when driving up: one side has a steep slope, while the other is gentler.
Not sure why this hasn't been mentioned but it's next to a military base! Gunfire all day & evening then you are woken by the military band playing! Not top for nervous dogs. Great walks though. Dodging the army joggers...
The train went past at 9:02 p.m. Very quiet place with a beautiful walk through the lemon groves. Not much network coverage.
Beautiful, level parking area surrounded by trees. We spent a quiet night.
Fantastic quiet location even over the Easter weekend. Day visitors tended to park down in the lower car park. Beautiful scent from the lemon groves. Great cycling along the Rio Segura in both directions. Friendly local gave us a handful of lemons, very kind.
Excellent location for several days! There is a beautiful park in the immediate vicinity, with several signposted walks. Cycling along the Segura is excellent. Shops are nearby for groceries. The nights are wonderfully quiet, although a freight train sometimes passes.
Large flat dirt parking lot surrounded by a fence. Contains many trees with low branches which will scrape tall vehicles unless carefully avoided. It's right next to a road with very little traffic where people jog in the morning. A busier road further off can faintly be heard but a very loud train nearby came through in the night once. Otherwise a quiet night. Cellular 4G is 1 to 3 out of 4 bars
One kilometer from the motorway, very good for one night! It was pleasantly quiet and idyllic among the trees. Tall motorhomes should be careful at the entrance, but if the passenger watches and guides you in, it is no problem at all.
