Camping Pepushaj

If we came back after 2,500 km, there must be a reason... and we are returning again. Why? Because of the hospitality, the treatment, and the closeness; they are like our Albanian family. But the very best thing is their food! The goat dish is exquisite! Everything is homemade and organic: the bread, vegetables, salad, and even the homemade wine! Thanks to Luccia and Nori! These are the moments you never forget on a journey. Couple and child.

A very pleasant place with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Use of the toilet and shower in the owners' house, and a washing machine is also available. There are beautiful walks nearby. The owners also run a small restaurant where you can eat well. To reach it, you have to drive 8 km along a stony road; the entrance to the camping field is steep. Suitable only for small campers.

We could not reach this spot in our campervan (6m). We drove up from lake Skodar and about 8 KM before destination the road turned into stones. We drove to another spot. If you have a 4x4 you will be fine.

A very beautiful place where you can walk through the valley along a river, with very welcoming hosts and tasty food as well. We recommend this place!

Awesome spot. We only paid €5 for the night. We also bought their delicious food. They offer all other services for free, which is extremely selfless considering their location and lack of thoroughfare. Please take a short detour into a stunning and remote part of Albania to support this place. A swim at the waterfall is a must despite the temperature!

We stayed here for two nights and the owners are extremely nice. We felt very comfortable here in the middle of the Albanian Alps. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the shower, toilet, and everything else are very clean. We were allowed to do laundry for free. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and hope we can return someday.

We arrived unexpectedly while looking for a remote place in Albania. To our surprise, we met a wonderful couple who had only been running their CAMPING-HOTEL business for two weeks. They were very hospitable and treated us like family. Highly recommended, with very good local food. We had planned to stay one night while passing through, but ended up staying two nights! THANK YOU, Luzia and Nori! Long live Albania!

We stayed with Nonni and Lucia for one night and were pleased that they welcomed us so warmly after our long journey. Really wonderful! Unfortunately, the lovely shaded spots under the trees are no longer there, as they had to be removed because of construction work. So there are hardly any shady places. Depending on their size, two or three motorhomes can stay here. The food is incredibly authentic and good.

We had a wonderful time at camping Pepushaj! We connected to Noni and Lucia very soon. They were so kind and warmhearted. We were immersed in the true Albanian farm life, with animals all around and super delicious homemade food. Nearby are numerous hikes with breathtaking views and beautiful spots to swim. I recommend for those seeking local experience!
