A flat, spacious spot beside a river at the bottom of an access road, with little traffic and a generally quiet night. The area is shaded and offers access to the cold river for bathing, while forestry work takes place nearby. The spot is practical and peaceful but has no notable view; the continuation of the path is better suited to vans or 4x4 vehicles.

Perfect for a quiet night after getting off the boat, 40 minutes away by road. That said, this site is worthwhile only because of its accessibility and tranquility. No view.
Quiet, shady place between the road and the river. You can take a good cold dip in the river. Forestry work is taking place nearby, but the workers did not seem to be bothered by our camper.
Great spot near Osiglia. There are signs prohibiting camping throughout the village center. Very quiet; we spent two nights and met lumberjacks who greeted us and let us stay. Shade for most of the day, with a superb river right next to it where you can soak your feet or lie in the water, cold but very clean.
Pick up your rubbish and keep a low profile. A very rare spot in this part of Italy, still clean. We stayed three days, which let us recover from a week of unsuccessfully searching for a spot. We only saw chainsaw workers opposite for two days, and a local visited for three days in a 4x4 but did not respond to our greetings. I think we must be careful to preserve this spot. Really.
Large, level area directly by the river, with a small access point. The road next to it has little traffic. We liked it.

Good spot, easily accessible for our car. Not much traffic on the road. We slept well without being disturbed.
