4 Chemin du Trabuquet, 06500, Menton
Been here?
A paid, sloping roadside parking area close to Menton, about 5-10 minutes on foot from the promenade. A clean public toilet is next door, and payment is through the Pay by Phone app. The route includes a bridge restricted to 2,8 m, while the narrow, busy road and traffic can make access and overnight rest difficult.

On the way to the parking area there is a bridge with a height restriction of 2.8 m. I could not pass.Translating
We were lucky too and managed to park our 8.5 m motorhome. Close to the town and right by the most beautiful route.Translating
The place is not easy to find. We were lucky that a fairly small space became available, then exchanged with a local for a wider one. It is a very busy place and therefore very noisy at night; we slept little. The road is also quite narrow, making circulation difficult. The toilets next door are clean, and the town is very easily accessible. Right next door there is an incredible view.Translating
The place has to be earned. If possible, the road is complicated to access, with two-way traffic and buses. With my 5.40 m converted van it was okay. Advice: motorhomes over 7 m, move on.Translating
It appears to be paid parking from 1 June 2024, between 8–12 and 14–22. The app is called Pay by Phone, but as a Swede I could not find it in the App Store. Apparently you can pay by SMS, but unfortunately I could not manage that either. Otherwise, excellent parking!Translating
it is good to reach but all places where occupied please refer to this area you have to pay 15 Euro per week by downloading an app.Translating
Very hard to get there, its impossibleTranslating
Great spot to spend the night. Wc next to it and close to the city centre (stairs).Translating
We spent one night here. There is a clean toilet directly at the parking area. The access road to the parking area is a small challenge, but it can be managed without problems. The parking area is perfectly adequate for exploring the town.Translating
Clean toilet. Quiet street at night.Translating
Free. Recommend you to come early in the morning or late to find a place. Free toilet with paper that was okey! Near the town. But we stand right next to the viewpoint, i would choose another place because there was a lot people hanging around there both mornings and at night.Translating
The coordinates to get there, when using Waze, lead to the parking area opposite the castle cemetery. Absolutely unsuitable for large motorhomes (we have a 7 m Laika), and turning around is difficult. It is better to park earlier, on the right, on Boulevard de Garavan, where there are spaces wide enough for motorhomes, although slightly uphill and therefore unsuitable for sleeping.Translating
