La Méridienne, 48130, Peyre en Aubrac
Been here?
Motorhome rest area on the A75 with grassy spaces, many picnic tables, toilets and a food truck serving coffee and pizzas. It is useful for a short stop and handling motorhome chores, while overnighting is recommended only in an emergency. Water has no threaded fitting, so filling requires a jerrycan. The service area can be difficult to find and has no ground drain for grey water.

Perfect for a quick stop, just to take care of all the motorhome chores. It could be suitable for spending the night in an emergency. There are quite a few picnic tables.Translating
There is simply no thread on the water tap, so filling must be done with a jerry can.Translating
We stopped to have lunch and stretch our legs during the journey. Lots of grass, picnic tables, toilets, and even a food truck with coffee, pizzas, and more, surrounded by trees providing good shade.Translating
I give it 1 because I cannot give zero. Very poorly explained, and it is also out of service.Translating
Nice place, but the water is turned off outside the season. The toilets were open and the tap water worked. Edit: it may have been turned off because there was construction nearby and they were replacing pipes.Translating
The service area is not easy to find. First, it is not signposted, and for good reason: it is a “caravan area.” To access it, follow the caravan parking area and you will find it on your right. There is no ground drain for gray water, but it is possible with a bucket. There is a black-water disposal area. For filling, there is no threaded connection and the tap is shared with the black-water area. Everything is free.Translating
Good place to stop, rest, fill the tanks, and empty the waste. However, do not spend the night. The gendarmerie has just informed me that a gang of criminals visits some nights at all the motorway service areas on the A75 and robs vans and motorhomes. Preferably choose any village instead!Translating
