Been here?
A large lay-by beside a quiet road near a shallow, slow-moving river, a local orchard and a small village. There are no facilities, and signs prohibit overnight camping or campervans. A small wood walk is about 10 minutes away, while a pub is a short 5-minute walk uphill. The area is used for Sunday-morning football parking from 0930hrs.

A lovely layby set back off a quiet road. I got there in the dark but could hear water nearby so woke up in the morning to find a beautiful shallow slow moving river behind the layby plus an orchard planted by the locals. Also a lovely small wood walk about 10 mins up a country lane. Single female with dog and felt very safe here
No overnight camping or campervans signs. But a lovely place to stop and have a picnic and paddle in the river
Good little spot, easily big enough for at least x4 vans. Just to note that the area is used for car parking on a Sunday morning from 0930hrs for the football pitches just opposite. A great pub was only a short 5 min walk up the hill
