Been here?
Camping Gökaskratts is a small campsite by Lake Rottnen in Hovmantorp, with lake views, a bathing jetty and walking access to the town. ICA, a pizzeria, ATM and hairdresser are nearby, while the restaurant is recommended for its low prices and good food. Service points are in good condition, but the sanitary facilities are old and basic, with cleanliness described inconsistently. The site is usually quiet, although young people have sometimes played loud music by the jetty after 22 Uhr.

Cozy little place, fresh facilities and a good restaurant with a liquor licence.
The good reviews are incomprehensible. The site with a view of the lake is quite nice, but the sanitary facilities are rather old. Washing facilities, toilets, and showers are all in one room and quite primitive. To extend a warm shower, you have to leave the shower in full view of everyone! Cleanliness is acceptable. Only one water point on the site. Never again!
We ended up here spontaneously and stayed two nights. Plenty of space for everyone, a swimming pier right next door, and everything needed in the town. All water and waste facilities were in good condition. Attention: there is a wasp nest in the birch tree between pitches 53 and 54 in 2025!
Nice little campingsite, allthough our car at 7,5 m is the absolute Max for the lot. The reception closed way too early, and we didn’t get to play minigolf. I highly recomend eating at the restaurant. Prices are low but the quality is amazing! The sanitery conditions could be better, but I would stop here again.
The site is okay. ICA is within walking distance; even during the holidays, hardly anyone is here. Sanitary facilities are adequate, but cleanliness is borderline and the showers are slippery. Thankfully, we always wear shower sandals. Price okay: 310 SEK with electricity.
Small but nice campsite in town. Sanitary facilities are showing their age but very clean. Directly on the swimming beach, which is also used by local residents. Very nice running route. Pitches are sufficiently large. A shame the restaurant closed as early as 6 p.m. The town has shops and an excellent bakery. We stayed two nights.
A very beautiful, family-friendly campsite with a great view of the large lake. The sanitary facilities are well maintained.
We spent three nights here at 250 kr per night. Super beautiful and quiet site, hardly anyone around. Hot showers and very clean, sufficient toilets. Many families with children are at the lake, and a few young people come in the evening, which did not bother us.
