Been here?
This is an idyllic forest picnic area beside a lake, with picnic tables, rubbish bins and barbecues. The barbecues are currently closed because of fire danger. It is generally quiet, clean and sheltered, with access via a paved road from Fanhais. Access can become difficult for non-4x4 vehicles in rainy weather.

I give it two stars because it is inaccessible in rainy weather to vehicles without four-wheel drive. We went elsewhere.Translating
There is a paved road to the site from Fanhais. The site is truly ideal; we drove our Caddy right up to the tables. It is less windy, cleaner and warmer than the coast.Translating
Perfect place in the middle of the forest, with picnic tables and barbecues, closed because of fire danger, and plenty of bins. Very clean and quiet. The access road was good. Vehicle: VW Caddy.Translating
Possible for four-wheel-drive vehicles or vans, but the entrance is winding and full of sand and mud. Motorhomes should avoid it.Translating
Quiet night. Fantastic starry sky. Three motorhomes. Barbecue facilities.Translating
Perfect place for peace and quiet. We were alone. Easy access.Translating
One night in a beautiful, peaceful place in the forest, with bins and barbecues available. Next to a small lake where swimming is not allowed. Easily accessible by motorhome. An Intermarché 15 minutes away offers free motorhome services.Translating
I stayed here for three nights on several occasions. I think it is a perfect spot out of season; in summer there is often a lot of activity, with people coming to barbecue. The last time I went, there was a birthday party. Also be careful not to get blocked in by cars once you drive further into the site.Translating
Sleep and have breakfast. A very pleasant place.Translating
