Watergate Bay Touring Park is a maintained campsite about 10 minutes drive from Newquay, with a bus stop outside for Newquay or Padstow. A 9x9m pitch with 10A costs 35 £, with electricity extra at 29p per kWh. The site has clean toilets and showers, water and toilet dumping, a covered pool, children’s play area and dog-friendly facilities. It is directly beside the end of Cornwall Airport’s runway, causing frequent aircraft noise.

Well-maintained site, somewhat expensive. We paid £35 for a 9x9 m pitch with 10 A, for two people and one dog. Electricity extra at 29p per kWh. The pool is covered, 1.20 m deep and too warm. But this is a disaster for us: the campsite is directly at the end of the runway at Cornwall Airport, and planes take off every 10 minutes. Aircraft enthusiasts may love it, but it really bothered us.Translating
Great site, friendly staff and clean sanitary facilities. Only three stars because £48 per night for a small van and two people, although cheaper with a camping card, is very expensive, and two toilets plus two showers for the lower field with around 60 pitches are far too few. There are electrical hookups at every pitch but no water taps. It is under the flight path of Newquay Airport, but that is okay.Translating
