60 Dorfstrasse, 6196, Marbach
Been here?
Village-edge gravel parking at the Marbachegg gondola base, along a small stream in the mountains, popular as an overnight stop with hikers and bikers. Quiet at night apart from the brook, though partly sloped and sometimes full in the daytime. Only cost is a CHF 2 per person tourist tax. Toilets are across the road, though locked at night per some reports. Village shops about 10 minutes' walk away.

Ideal place for an overnight stay. Many thanks to the municipality, and a request to everyone: keep the site clean and do not forget to pay the CHF 2.00 tourist tax per person.
Great place, becoming shady along the stream toward evening. Some parts are slightly sloping. Many thanks to the municipality for providing this!
Great place. I can only recommend it.
Beautiful and quiet, but the toilets were locked in the evening and at night.
Quiet, clean parking area. Please note that overnight stays cost a tourist tax of CHF 2 per person. An information board is located at the beginning of the gravel parking area. For information: the stream is not intended for washing dishes; please keep this parking area clean in the future.
Very quiet place with a stream where you can wash dishes. Toilets are across the road at the bottom station. A cute cat also came to us, which made everything perfect!
Brilliant spot. Very spacious. Lovely river. Beautiful views!! There’s a toilet across the road by the information centre down the steps. Clean and 2 cubicles in each and open all night
Gravel area by a stream, cozy for falling asleep. Paid the CHF 2 tourist tax and took the cable car to Marbachegg. Enjoyed a pleasant walk with my dog. It was a lovely weekend. Thank you, Marbach!
Thanks to the municipality for allowing us to stay here. We were here at the weekend; the whole site was full during the day, but spaces became available again in the evening. Hardly any traffic at night, mostly drowned out by the sound of the stream. We were happy to pay the tourist tax. The small town has everything you need to buy.
Many thanks to the municipality for allowing us to stay here. To all users: keep the site clean and do not behave as if you are camping.
Perfect parking area, quiet at night and during the day too. A little stream flows behind the parking area. The only payment is a tourist tax of CHF 2 per person. We stayed for two nights because we liked it so much. Plenty of room for large motorhomes too; 7 meters fits well.
Large gravel parking area, quiet at night. Toilets are also open at night in the cable-car building. There is only a small tourist tax to pay at the tourist office or via Twint.
Very good spot in the mountains. Gravel parking area beside the water. Quiet. Starting point for hiking and mountain biking.
