Campingpark Oberammergau!

We used the site for one night while passing through, for €21 without electricity, water, or sanitary facilities. Chemical and gray-water disposal was available and included. Within walking distance of Oberammergau center. Suitable for transit even for motorhomes over 9 meters. Electricity must be purchased via coin slot if desired. For us, it was fine as a transit site, as it was also relatively quiet.

Too expensive, and when changing the booking, the deposit was not credited.

Attention, do not get caught out: there are two rates. The first is one basic night without services: €16 plus €2 tax per person. The second is €60 plus tax with all services. If you say nothing, they charge you €60. We spent one quiet night there without services for €20. It is 500 meters from the center, very convenient for a restaurant or visiting the town.

In my opinion, this place is not recommended. You reach an automatic barrier and have to pay when entering, even though no fees are displayed. At the reception, located at the very back of the site and with very unusual opening hours, the elderly operator spoke to me rudely. Unfortunately, they have a monopoly in Oberammergau.

Beautiful sanitary facilities but expensive.

A good starting point for hikes and cycling tours. Excellent with a dog—the Ammer River is a true paradise. Small campsite, everything very clean and well maintained. If you reserve in advance, you can enter during the lunch break and find your pitch listed at reception. Very practical. We only missed a small shop for daily necessities.

Oberammergau is worth seeing as a town, but the pitch is too expensive.

Bit pricey overall, especially the washing machines. Would have been fantastic scenery but it was quite foggy/cloudy for our one night stay. Smooth check in and good facilities otherwise. walkable into town with my kids both along the lovely river and the just as beautiful road path.

Typical campsite focused on winter camping. Friendly welcome. The site is unremarkable. Sanitary facilities clean but somewhat dated. The price with electricity for three people is €60 per night. It is a 20-minute walk into town.

Too expensive for an overnight parking area. Debit-card payment is only possible from €60; credit card is not accepted at all.

Camping in spectacular surroundings. There is an area on the right upon entering that operates like a camper area, with camper-stop signs. Two people and a dog in a motorhome cost €21 per night, with electricity available for an additional €1 per kWh. The campsite facilities cannot be used, but water filling is available for a fee and gray- and black-water disposal is free.

We stayed overnight on 28 April. Quiet location, friendly and helpful staff. Filling and emptying included; one night for two adults, one teenager and a small dog cost €22 under the camper-stop rate.

We stayed at this campsite with our van. The reception girls were very friendly. You can stay overnight without using the bathrooms or showers, with filling and emptying included. One night for two people and the van cost €20.

Beautiful site, very friendly, lovely surroundings, free bus travel, very clean sanitary facilities, and a 15-minute walk into town. A camper with a dog and two people cost €82 for two nights without electricity; electricity costs extra. Personally, I find that expensive.

Not the most attractive places but a great location to visit the beautiful town. We were lucky to get a spacious pitches near the tent area but most pitches are quite narrow.

Quiet location but expensive: €20 just to park, without electricity, and you have to pay for water. Once inside after 6 p.m., you can no longer leave. You are better off settling in the large free park next door.

Beautiful campsite with large pitches, excellent showers and toilets, and everything else you need. Very friendly staff. You can also order bread rolls. The location is excellent too. We had a very pleasant stay—slightly expensive, but no more expensive than the other options in Bavaria. We paid €45 for two people and one camper for one night.

Immaculate location and facilities. Very friendly staff. However, this is the most expensive campsite we encountered during our holiday in southern Germany. Two nights, motorhome and four people cost €130, plus €10 tourist tax. The worst part was having to pay 50 cents to use the water for three minutes to refill the tank. I know it is little, but after paying so much it left a bad taste.

Great site. Nice operators, always ready to help. We spontaneously extended our stay by two nights. Clean sanitary facilities. I would happily come again.

Go there to find out whether there is space, either at the campsite or camper stop, because by phone they say it is full. Otherwise, the campsite does the job: clean, with adequate sanitary facilities. As a curiosity, there is a bathroom for dogs!

It has a somewhat cheaper motorhome area. It is not bad, but they charge 10 cents for 8 liters of water from a fountain. A bit tacky.

The campsite has a motorhome area where we are staying. €15 plus tourist tax, without sanitary facilities—excellent value for money. The pitches are large enough for an awning, chairs and a table. Dogs welcome. The river is right nearby, and the town is just a few minutes’ walk away. Everything is excellent so far.

We spent one night here. The site is close to the road and quite expensive, so unfortunately only four stars. You need a chip for the bathrooms, with a €20 deposit. Card payment is only possible from €60. Bread rolls can be ordered. Hiking trails start from the campsite. You should check in by 6 p.m., but there are also self-sufficient pitches at the front.

Nice campsite. Everything very clean. We stayed with a motorhome. A little expensive, though: two nights €82.50, tourist tax €10. The price includes €1.90 for the electricity connection, but electricity consumption is charged separately—3 kWh cost €5. It is a tourist area with corresponding prices.

As others have said, the price here is rather expensive for the simple toilet, shower and washing facilities that are available. But its location is fantastic and the view from the pitch is great. We parked next to a little stream and there is the town football and basketball courts near by for those that need space to play. €60 for two adults and two children- electric is extra if you want it.
