This is a quiet picnic area with round stone tables and parking for about 10 or 12 places. It offers distant sea views and sunsets, with a children’s play area and picnic benches. Recent information reports overgrown grounds, overflowing waste bins and some nighttime activity; the area is not completely level but is sheltered from wind.

Beautiful, but it appears to be abandoned. The picnic and playground areas are overgrown. The waste bins are overflowing, and some even have plants growing in the middle of them. Some teens parked there just after midnight and stayed in a bench until 3:30 in the morning. They were fine, and were not even loud, but as we were otherwise alone it did not feel that safe.
Large area with more parking on a lower level. Sea view in the distance and nice sunset over the sea. Not completely level but not bad. Children’s play area and picnic benches over grown with grass when we were there which is a shame. Quiet at night and more sheltered from the wind than the harbour near crystal beach which is only 8 minutes drive away. Recommended for a quiet nights sleep.
