A parking area at the Lidl supermarket in Igoumenitsa with no height limit, suitable for a stop before or after the ferry. Lidl provides morning shopping and fresh baked goods, and Wi-Fi may be available near the store. Good place! If you park near Lidl, you can also use Lidl's Wi-Fi.
Good place to stay for one night before or after the ferry. However, there were three dogs roaming the parking area that barked a lot at night.
When we were here, three motorhomes were parked behind and to the left of the building all night. We experienced how lively shopping is here in the morning, even at the end of the season. It would therefore be wise to grab fresh rolls early and leave, or look for another place if three to five campers are already there.
We stopped to sleep for one night exactly behind Lidl. Quiet parking area. The only downside is the stray dogs that bark from time to time.
After arriving by ferry, we stood here for another two hours and caught up on sleep. Then we went shopping. The place is more than adequate for that.
Basically fine for one night. Two stray dogs barked for a while, and a delivery truck at 12:15 a.m. made a lot of noise. Otherwise we slept peacefully. The staff did not seem to have a problem with it. Convenient to be able to shop in the morning.
At night, staff/security told us that we were not allowed to stay there. We were then supposed to leave before 7 a.m.
