3 Route d'Iteuil, 86240, Ligugé
Been here?
Small dirt parking area near the river, calm and away from the main road, with large rocks emerging from the water. Access can be difficult when rain has eroded the track, and the narrow bridge over the railway suits vans and small vehicles rather than large or low-chassis vehicles. The site can be very poorly frequented or dangerous because of illegal activities and private alcohol-fuelled parties. There are no bins.

Superb location with huge blocks of stone emerging from the water. Quiet and far from the road, but access can sometimes be difficult when the path has been eroded by rain. Above all, the place is often VERY poorly frequented and can be dangerous when illegal activities or a drunken private party are disturbed. Absolutely avoid Saturday nights.
Quiet place, with a slightly slippery descent on white gravel and a few potholes. Excellent for vans and small vehicles, as you have to cross a very small bridge over the railway, which is quite tight. That said, it is a charming and truly great place.
