Been here?
This is a gravel motorhome area in a marina, with the best water views from the first row and a coastal path to Lysekil. Showers and electricity are included, with 6amp electricity, but there are too few toilets and showers when busy. The site can be full by 17:00, and spaces are taken on arrival rather than reserved.

Parking-lot camping at its finest. Only the first row has a view of the water; otherwise, white motorhomes are packed tightly together on dusty gravel. The coastal path is nice, and the swimming area is public, so you do not need to use the parking site for that.
Nice place, good parking space by the sea. Easy to walk into Lysekil.
Nice place, well located :-) Not enough toilets and showers, so it is not always clean.
A good place to stay for some nights.
The municipality’s website suggests that spaces are available and can be reserved and booked. When we arrived at 5 p.m., everything—I mean everything—was full! The same applies to the other places run by the municipality. What is the point of this?
A good parking! But not so nice in the toilet Rooms! OBS 6amp
Straightforward parking area: simply find a space, register via the municipality’s website, and the site manager then comes with a ticket for the windscreen. Super-clean sanitary facilities, with sink, toilet, and shower in one room. Washing-up facilities are available; a roof over them would be nice. The path along the harbour on the wooden walkways is wonderful. No Wi-Fi, but peaceful.
Very good. I am removing one star because grey-water emptying is done using a small wheeled container connected to a hose. Emptying was impossible for us because the container would not fit under the drain of our factory-built campervan. The man supervising the site told us to go to the other area to empty it, but that one was blocked. So we left with our grey water.
Great place to explore Lysekil via the wooden walkway. It has everything you need :)
Good place 2026
Good gravel site, everything available, clean sanitary facilities. A good option for one or two days. No Wi-Fi. Great view and fairly quiet in mid-June.
What a lovely place. The camping area itself is not particularly idyllic, but all facilities are available and it is clean. Fine shower and toilet. A beautiful wooden path runs along the coast from the camper site to Lysekil, about 3 km. We were here from Saturday to Sunday. There were about 30 campers, but it was quiet.
Beautiful site at the harbour. Payment is very easy, for example via PayPal on the municipality’s website, once you have chosen a space on site. Clean toilets, shower okay. Electricity and water available, as well as rubbish disposal, a grey-water station, and cassette emptying. From here you can take a lovely walk along the water on wooden walkways to Lysekil.
A very beautiful site directly on the water. Payment is only possible via the municipality’s website. For emptying waste, you have to drive to the other side of the town, but it is easy there; even the cassette can be emptied free of charge with Sanifair.
Everything as described, very nice. However, it was also quite noisy because of construction work on the new jetty and the boats now being stored again. Otherwise, wonderful.
Wonderful site with an incredibly beautiful view of the archipelago. The hiking boardwalk to Lysekil starts directly at the site. Showers and toilets are clean and accessed with a code, which you receive after paying on the website.
Dog friendly and Beautiful ! Good showers, energy for campers and utensils. A scenic route to the city by foot ( and soooo pretty). There is place for swimming and you can reach a hiking path pretty quick with a bit of woodland and a sweet water sea so the dogs were super happy !
Very nice site; we spent one night here. Everything you need is available. However, the description says there is Wi-Fi, which unfortunately is not true. A beautiful route along the sea leads into town.
Calm and beatiful view to the archipelago from the rock above the parking. Campervan parking was full but they allowed people to park in between the boats as well, so we did that.
For us, the best site here: many pitches directly at the marina, clean, good sanitary facilities, and a great view. Spacious pitches, no crowding. You can walk into town, 1.5 km, or hike to the small offshore island nearby. Two wind turbines tower above the site; when active, they make a quiet noise that did not bother us. 300 SEK per night.
The site is really great. We stood directly on a pitch facing the water, even though many campers had already arrived and there was free choice of spaces. The view is great, and the service is also good for the price. On foot, you can climb the rocks via a newly built staircase and enjoy a wonderful view.
At first I was disappointed by the industrial atmosphere caused by the shipyard, but the walk along the coastal path into town made up for it. There is a great swimming spot about ten minutes from the site, although you can also swim at the site.
One of our favorite spots. The place itself is decent: full sanitary facilities, nice view over the bay. But for 300 SEK you get much more: beautiful sea promenade to Lysekil with amazing view and bath places, very cheap and delicious scampi&chips from the foodtruck (must eat!!!). On hot sunny day most places are taken before 12.00, so be aware.
Generally a beautiful, spacious, and relatively level site. Sanitary facilities are okay, clean, and modern. Nothing special.
What a lovely place to stay the night. Level gravel clearly marked spaces with a wonderful view . Book in on the pitch you park on via Lysekil havn website then a code for the facilités is sent to you. All facilités were clean and well kept for a harbour. The boardwalk to the town is a wonderful stroll and the town itself was great! We would definitely return
Beautiful spot beside a small boatyard. Sanitary facilities available. Great starting point for a walk into town along the wooden walkways. Wind turbines stand directly above the site, but they are not very disturbing since the wind is louder than the turbine noise.
What a super park up on a working harbour/boat yard. Nice places overlooking the sea. BBQ fire and wood supplied. Clean toilets and showers with good pressure and nice hot water. 20 minutes walk around the lovely boardwalk into the main town. Price on Sunday was 270sek, increased to 300 SEK Monday for high season. Recommend
Very beautiful, quiet motorhome site. Showers very clean and easy to open with a code. The toilet is also excellent!
