Been here?
Quiet 10-acre campsite between Sassenay and Gergy, 10km from Chalon-sur-Saône, shaded by mature trees. Large pitches with free choice of spot; recent, clean toilets; washing machine (3 euros). Young couple operates the site, speaking English and serving fresh morning croissants and pizza evenings. Bar and snack service run 4pm–10pm. Reception opens 9am–10am and 4pm–7pm only. Lake for walks is present but often lacks water in summer.

€38 for two people is far too expensive for this place. The lake is always without water in summer.
Camping under the trees, which is an advantage during very hot weather. The recent sanitary facilities are clean. Free choice of pitch. Reasonable price in high season. Washing machine at €3, with a genuine 1.5-hour wash cycle. The lake is part of the campsite and makes for a very pleasant walk; there are many storks.
The reception opening hours are incorrect. It is currently open from 9–10 a.m. and from 4–7 p.m. We arrived at 1 p.m. and, after a brief inspection of the site, decided it was not worth waiting three hours in front of the barrier. In Gergy, directly on the Saône, there is a campsite where, after a short phone call with Nelly, you can choose an available pitch.
A wonderful little natural campsite with large pitches and plenty of shade. The young couple running it are very welcoming and also speak English. Fresh croissants are available in the morning from 9–10 a.m. In the evening there is a small restaurant serving genuinely good pizza. The sanitary facilities are a little dated, but were perfectly fine for me. A supermarket is 2.4 km away.
Quiet place under the trees, very friendly welcome, all services for motorhomes.
Very friendly welcome, cute campsite with shaded pitches under large trees, fairly quiet at this time of year, clean and adequate sanitary facilities. €15.60 for two people in a van without electricity is absolutely reasonable.
Very nice small campsite. Friendly staff. He speaks French and English. The entire site was very quiet. The sanitary facilities were somewhat old but clean. Overall, a great campsite for the price. We were there in mid-September and there were plenty of spaces available.
Very friendly family running the campsite; we got chatting with them at the bar in the evening. The campsite was inexpensive at €17 for a motorhome and two people with electricity. Unfortunately, the grounds were no longer well maintained and had been largely left to nature, which also has its charm. For example, the mini-golf course can no longer be used.
Small, manageable campsite with very friendly owners in a family atmosphere. Nice terrace for eating and drinking with lantern lighting. Food until 9 p.m. in snack-bar style; unfortunately, the pizza was already sold out. Breakfast for the next morning can be reserved from 9 a.m. Unfortunately somewhat shady, though that is surely good in summer. Sanitary facilities are dated, somewhat small, and located out of the way.
Very warm welcome! Very spacious pitches and delicious fresh homemade pizza. The toilet building is somewhat dated but very clean.
Perfect, everything is there for €20. Friendly, uncomplicated welcome. Wi-Fi, terrestrial TV, electricity, shade, large pitches, adequate sanitary facilities, snacks, bread, and pastries!
Friendly welcome, pleasant green surroundings, with the possibility of taking a beautiful walk almost entirely through the forest. The pitches are spacious and relatively level, though rather lumpy from moles. Snacks are a little expensive but useful. €17.50 for one camper with electricity and one person, under €20, which is becoming quite rare. No reason to deprive yourself for one or two nights.
The site is perfectly fine. The shower and toilet were clean. The management family was very friendly and attentive. The pitches are level, although there are some uneven areas. I only had one beer, which was delicious. The pizza looked good. There is no restaurant nearby, but there is a large supermarket.
There are so few of these welcoming, shaded, peaceful little campsites that are simple and clean. The pitches are beside the pond, and a path allows you to observe water birds. The snack bar offers cold beer, pizza, and more. Wildlife is preserved here, which is so rare. Thank you to them.
A place to avoid! Unsanitary facilities, very poorly maintained pitch; we turned around and left.
