This is a small lay-by beside a canal, suitable for camper vans but not large motorhomes, with space for only 2-3 vehicles. It offers a relatively flat, quiet overnight stop with good canal views and a footpath 20 yards away leading to the towpath. The surface is muddy or dusty earth rather than hardstanding. Larger vans may find the space tight.

Nice quiet spot, good view of the canal. Would stay there again,wouldn't recommend it for large motorhomes but ok for Vans.

This won't be for everyone, but I found it to be a great little spot. it's tight for the bigger vans (see photos of my Citroen Relay). it's muddy/dusty ground but didn't cause an issue as it was dry. plenty of walks along the canal (I went to Chirk Viaduct). There is a BP service station and a pub in walking distance.
Nice view but muddy and got woken up by people surrounding the van and banging on the window at night
Good little spot ...only really enough room for 2-3 camper vans max ...motorhomes i would say they somewhere else Road is a little busy during the day , a car every few minutes and they sometimes come past quite quickly. with it being only a small place , the vehicles shake the van as it's literally on the side of the road . Phone signals ok ..internet was between 3-8mbps on EE
