Campsite A.S.C.P.A. Bouzey

Small campsite directly by the lake with many trees. You choose your own pitch and register yourself. Very friendly volunteers run the site. When we arrived, it was quiet and pleasant. The sanitary facilities are old and unattractive, but no problem for one or two nights. This otherwise beautiful site needs investment.

Friendly welcome, €20 for one night, no emptying of black water allowed. Grassy and sloping ground, problematic in rainy weather.

A wonderfully beautiful campsite among the trees. Very uncomplicated arrival: arrive, choose your own pitch and pay later. Clean, tidy sanitary facilities and very friendly staff. At €13 per night, it gets 5/5 stars.

Campsite run by an association and volunteers. No one present; register yourself and put the money in an envelope in the mailbox. The grounds are fine. A group of Africans—50 people—had a barbecue, music and football. Nice people, but it did not feel like a holiday. The price is now €19.44 for two people with a camper. Too expensive for this place, so we went to the other nature campsite, which is much better and cheaper.

Certainly a very nice and presumably quiet place. Unfortunately for us, there were people and music near the sanitary facilities. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and left two hours later because we did not want to wait for the noisy evening to end.

We could not have hoped for a better first stop. When we arrived, we thought it seemed somewhat deserted and old. But rarely have we stayed in such a peaceful place. Close to fresh water, clean sanitary facilities and friendly neighbours. Highly recommended!

A nature campsite just as we like it. Run by volunteers: you check yourself in and choose your own pitch. Payment is made in an envelope. The pitches are close to the lake, where we cooled off during the hot weather. We did not use the sanitary facilities. Electricity is available, but there is no grey-water or toilet disposal.

Top location, nature campsite, lots of greenery, right by the lake. You are free to choose a spot. Recommended.

Wonderfully peaceful! Beautiful surroundings… showers are free and spacious, so two of us could shower together haha. Friendly welcome. €14 per night for a camper and two people.

Fine campsite for people seeking peace and who do not mind the age of the sanitary facilities, which are otherwise perfectly adequate. The toilets have no seats, but fortunately they are not squat toilets. However, the lake mentioned no longer exists as of 2023—it has dried up—which is probably why the campsite is extremely quiet. Nevertheless, it is certainly not a bad campsite!
