Motorhome area, train noise

We planned to spend one night; in the end it became two. The owner is very friendly, the facilities are clean, and there is a small pool to cool off in. You can hear the train, but you get used to it immediately, and at night hardly any trains pass, so you sleep very well. There is some shade from the trees, and the picnic area is now covered. We will definitely return.✦Translating

At first it seems like an acceptable area, but there is little shade and it is somewhat neglected. Access is via a narrow road next to the railway, and it is very close to a high-speed rail line, with the resulting noise. The only attraction is that it is the safest area near Barcelona.✦Translating

What a delightful private Aire with everything you could want, all for €12. It has all the basics, water, grey waste and toilet disposal but it has extras - a toilet, shower and washing machine and then it has the luxuries, a little swimming pool and shady communal sitting area. All very clean and cared for. Railway line but it only runs during the day and the night was very quiet. Cash only.

Nice place, dog-friendly, although somewhat overpriced for such a remote area. Trains constantly pass next door, so peace and quiet are not to be expected. Electricity costs €5, and then the owner switches it off at 9 a.m. even though we only arrived in the afternoon—that is cheeky. Fine for one night with earplugs.✦Translating

Far from shops and restaurants, but directly beside Spain's busiest railway line. When the high-speed train passes, you think you are at an airport. One shower, nice and warm with good pressure: five minutes for €1. One toilet. Don't forget to tell them if you need electricity, otherwise it will be switched off in the evening and nobody will come to help. Recommended only as an emergency stop.✦Translating

The shower only provides ice-cold water. The manager has known this for quite some time, yet fails to mention it. The manager even exchanges money for €1 coins so you can shower without telling you there is no hot water. Electricity is expensive and regularly cuts out. The bins are overflowing. Otherwise, a bleak place with enormous noise from the high-speed railway.✦Translating

Check your GPS! Make sure to avoid the small town roads in the nearest town. No one was there. You pay by leaving cash in a mailbox. Laundry room was locked. WiFi didn’t work. We didn’t dare use the shower from previous comments. Several trains drove by in the little time we were there. But nice large grass area to play with the dog. We paid for services and moved on.

The noise from the trains was bearable during the day and personally did not bother us much. It was quiet at night. Otherwise, everything was fine for the price, except for the showers at €1. There was only ice-cold water. What a shame.✦Translating

Large-capacity area with all services. We slept very well; an occasional train passes but it is not too disturbing. Hot shower; we paid €17 per night with electricity. We will return.✦Translating

We are staying here for two nights, an excellent place for the price-quality ratio. Unfortunately, the shower was cold for us. Otherwise, everything was fine. In our opinion, the pitches are spacious enough (7.5-meter camper), and there is a large lawn where you can enjoy the sun comfortably with your chairs. Friendly owners, though they speak only Spanish. €16 per night, including electricity, for two people and a dog. Excellent!✦Translating

We have just arrived. A nice large site. It was not occupied, and the electricity works, so we connected right away. The approach could be better signposted; we struggled through a village with very narrow streets.✦Translating

Great place for an overnight stay. Yes, there are trains, but they did not bother me and they do not run at night. The whole place looks well maintained. One shower with wonderfully hot water (€1 per five minutes). Separate toilet, washing machine, and washing-up area. It is a bit cramped when full. Unfortunately, because of our ferry, we only arrived at night, and the electricity had been switched off at all the outlets. We did not want to wake the owner (his mobile number is posted). It was only in the morning, when our neighbor left, that we got electricity from his outlet. Simple site; we did not use the sanitary facilities because they were permanently occupied. The trains are noisy during the day, but they did not bother me at night; there were not that many. The few chickens are completely unobtrusive. Beautiful natural site, attractively laid out. Friendly owner! Unfortunately, more and more sites have the annoying 6-amp electricity limit. Usually it is enough for me, though. Everything was fine for me, and I love water without chlorine!

Beautiful natural-style site, very well maintained, with a proper owner. Very tame chickens. The trains are loud but not disruptive; none run at night. The only issue is that one toilet is too few for the number of pitches.

Far too expensive, especially if you have a trailer or a vehicle over 8 metres. And so noisy... Move on!

Listen, gentlemen, you cannot call this a good area. Negatives: four railway tracks, including a high-speed line; when the train passes, it feels as if it is right beside your vehicle. Twenty or more pitches, with only one toilet and one shower for everyone. €5 for electricity is excessive, and €1 per shower. When you add it all up, this is a place never to return to. I am giving one star because it does not allow less.

There is actually nothing wrong with the site itself, but €5 for 6-amp electricity is rather expensive. And the worst thing is the railway line, with very frequent high-speed trains. We are not fussy—we lived near railway tracks for years and are used to some noise—but here you REALLY notice it, as if the train comes through your motorhome, almost every 10 minutes.

The place is very well maintained, the pitches are marked out and come in different sizes, and you can arrive at any time. Sanitary facilities are available, as is a small sheltered outdoor area for gathering in the evening. We liked it and saved the address :) As for the trains, it is not that terrible.

Very nicely laid-out small motorhome site. Service facilities, including a washing machine, are available, although we did not use them. When approaching, try to avoid driving through the village of Les Casetes de la Gornal. The village streets are very narrow. Unfortunately, the nearby railway line is also very clearly audible. Trains passed approximately every 8–10 minutes.

The site is okay, right next to the railway, with poor sanitary facilities!
