Quiet glacier lake, narrow potholed access

Magnificent view! Pitch for two by the roadside.

I have no words, an impressive place.

Before marking the hundredth green tree here, I’ll simply review this one. I had a place about 500 meters farther east by the road. Very quiet at night, with a refreshing wash in the small lake nearby. Unfortunately, there is zero internet reception, but it is still a dream to stay up here. There are many small spots up here, so just keep driving; you will always find something. Very windy.

Really beautiful road. And the site is great. Beautiful view and hardly any traffic. Absolutely nothing at night. Space for one motorhome and two vans.

Great spot. In the middle of nowhere. Views of a moonscape, lake and fast-flowing stream, snow in the distance and mountains. Very quiet. We enjoyed it. You do need to have all your own facilities with you!

Superb view, several small flat spots nearby, more suitable for small vans. No services, no signal. It is cold there. To get there, there is a single-lane road with many potholes but magnificent views all the way.

We had wind and a little rain, but it was a magnificent spectacle of nature. We even saw a reindeer. We can only recommend the drive along the old road.
