Beach parking, fills quickly

Need to get there very very early to get parked here. Even on a Monday morning it was packed with beach goers. Nothing special, just an area to avoid paid parking directly around this area.

I didn't see on EasyPark that it was free at night; everything in the area costs €1.50 per hour. Maybe there is no inspection at night, but it's a risk. There is a large parking area where trucks and buses stop, but nothing is marked for motorhomes, and the marked spaces are too small. It's a shame not to dedicate spaces to motorhomes at a moderate price.

Perfect for visiting the city. Ideally, arrive before 8:00 a.m. or at night after 9:00 p.m. to find a parking space; many cars are parked there. Completely free.

Convenient for visiting Tropea! We slept here. Quiet night.

Great place for 3–4 motorhomes, even large ones like ours at 7.5 m, but in high season it may be difficult to find parking. Further on there is a campsite by the sea, and just before it you can take hot showers for €1 per 3 minutes.

I spent a wonderfully quiet night here alone. I felt safe. 5 minutes' walk to the beach. Direct route up to the town. Trash bins nearby. I would come back anytime!

On the way to the spot, one road was closed with construction fences, so the maps redirected us with suggestion through a ZTL zone. We luckily found a street parking right before the zone - we saw after that the route the maps gave us also wanted us down a hill where campers were not allowed. We also saw another camper who discovered the sign before the hill last minute. Guess we were just unlucky

We had a quiet night. I think these parking spaces belong to the hotel restaurant, but nowhere does it say that parking is prohibited.

We spent two nights in complete peace. Unfortunately, in August it is almost impossible to find parking except on the seafront, where parking is charged by the hour.

stayed here for an afternoon to visit Tropea and stayed for a night. Calm night with no issues.

Good for the night can get full quickly

It says 50 spaces; I would say more like 30. I was lucky to park directly, and my motorhome is fairly long (6.70 m). For two evenings there has been loud music in a town bar, clearly audible until very late, so anyone seeking absolute silence should avoid it.

Close to the attractions. Quiet night. An elderly lady feeds the stray cats, so dog owners should be careful.

We spent a quiet night in the company of other campers.

The water tap is in the neighboring parking area, on the right by the wall.

I had a quiet and pleasant night; under the trees there are no prohibitions and no fees.

Works for visiting the beautiful town or doing laundry at the nearby marina. Couldn't find the water tap mentioned in one of the comments, apparently somewhere in the "pine forest" aka overgrown scuffy park.

Quiet place at the harbor, just a short walk from the historic center. Unlike the opposite side, this section is not marked, with no fees but also no prohibition.

Very convenient for visiting central Tropea and the sea. We slept here for three nights and had a wonderful time. Inside the pine grove there is a tap, and we also filled up with water. The supermarket is a little expensive but nearby; otherwise, on the seafront beyond the center there is an Eurospin.

Sunny and exposed. The seafront side is paid and only suitable for very short vehicles. The free side has few spaces for campers over 6 m.

Street parking area; you need a lot of luck to find a spot. We drove around several times. Very close to the historic center and beaches.
