Riverside picnic, road noise

This beautiful picnic area has 3-4 places beside a historic stone bridge and a river, with a fixed table and a few chairs. The fresh-water tap is currently broken and unusable. Because the site is next to the main road, traffic noise makes it unsuitable for a quiet overnight stop.

The spot is beautiful, a bridge from Hellenic period spans the river. According to legend, the foreman's wife had to be sacrificed and buried in the foundations. Its been standing for 2500 years.. The water tap is broken and unusable. Its right next to the main road, so noisy for an overnight stop. But it's beautiful and well worth a stop.
Convenient for parking and filling up with water. Very good pressure for filling the tank and containers. We did not stay overnight because of the proximity of the road and the litter on site.Translating
