A quiet place to spend the night, and above all a very nice café with very pleasant people—and the food is excellent too… Thank you very much for your kindness.

A good overnight stop after a long day. The staff are friendly, and the parking is free provided you purchase something from the café. I was looking forward to a bacon sandwich in the morning. Four motorhomes stayed that night, and I would happily return. Thanks to the café owners for permitting overnight stays.

Charming village location near a railway station and distillery, with up to five campervan or motorhome spaces. Booking through the website is requested, along with buying coffee or food as thanks. The café is superb and the staff very friendly. We arrived after dark, completed the booking form and enjoyed a delicious breakfast before leaving.

A fine little spot away from the usual route. We arrived shortly after 4pm, enjoyed excellent coffee and delicious lemon-and-honey cake, with compliments to the baker. It is very quiet overnight and ideal for self-sufficient visitors. The breakfast menu looked appealing, but we had an early start and will try it next time.

Very friendly welcome, great food and a free overnight stay. Slept peacefully and would gladly return anytime. The parking area is level, although very muddy in the rain.

We spent one night here while travelling toward Inverness. Although we arrived after the café closed, we found parking. In the morning, we enjoyed excellent vegetarian breakfasts and superb coffee beside the log burner. The friendly New Zealand server was welcoming and great company. Our dog was also given a treat.

Very friendly reception. We arrived Friday afternoon, enjoyed craft beer, stayed overnight and had breakfast the following morning. A superb stopover. If you use it, please buy something from the café and respect the hospitality rather than merely occupying a space.

I would like to commend the café’s initiative in offering a safe place where motorhomes can stay overnight. I felt that the surrounding area was not very welcoming, with no places available that were not prohibited. I was delighted to find this car park, where I slept very well. I also had lunch there—a real treat! Very pleasant staff as well.

Super-friendly café owners. Very helpful. Breakfast was very, very tasty. The last train leaves around 11, but the first one is already back at 6. Still, considering that the place is free, it is highly recommended.

Great overnight location with free, flat parking sheltered from the wind. There are no services. The café and bar operate from 9am until 5pm, and the staff are very welcoming.

Nice place for one night. No water or waste facilities. We combined the overnight stay with a visit to the distillery. The next morning we had breakfast in the lovely café. Four motorhomes stayed here overnight; there would also have been room for six. Registration is not necessary but recommended.

Quiet, level location with a beautiful track suitable for walking or cycling beside Loch Ericht; there may be a bothy at its end. Overnight parking is free, though they ask visitors online to use their attractive café. There is plenty of choice, including many honey products. Strongly recommended, beside Dalwhinnie distillery just off the A9.

Excellent café with a broad menu that is about 90% locally sourced, covering breakfast, pies, vegan dishes and lunch. The parking is mostly level, and the café has toilets. It opens from 9am to 5pm and is clean and professionally operated. I slept well until a neighbour started a vehicle and made a speakerphone call at 5:30am, perhaps an unlucky incident.
