Been here?
An unpaved roadside pull-off at 1200m on the Palombera pass, surrounded by mountain scenery and free-roaming cows and horses. It is a starting point for hiking and offers views from the mountain above. The ground has slopes, potholes and puddles, and the site can be windy and wet. Mobile phone and internet signal are unavailable.

Unpaved ground with a slight slope, next to the road. You can walk to the top of the mountain and enjoy great views of the area after a while.
We spent a quiet night. It is a windy area. Starting point for trails.
The surroundings are very beautiful, and if you go towards Saja, even more so! It is a roadside lay-by, unpaved, so puddles form because of the uneven ground and potholes.
Wonderful Everything neat and tidy, and a lovely place
We arrived in October during extremely wet, windy weather with poor visibility. We felt too nervous to stay because the site is directly beside the main road, which was not obvious beforehand. It was quiet at night that month, apart from occasional traffic.
This is certainly a beautiful location, though it was very wet and muddy. There was no phone or internet signal, both important for keeping in touch with family and handling work, so sadly we had to leave.
Wonderful scenery, with nature as your only neighbor. The large, level, free parking area offers numerous hiking routes in the mountains and excellent nighttime stargazing. In summer, cows and horses wander freely; they leave you alone if you leave them alone. Leave only footprints and take only photographs!
A shame about the road next to it, but it is a WONDERFUL place.
