We parked for the day, took a seven-hour walk to the Glanoch waterfalls, and slept in our campervan in the cemetery car park. Some traffic passed at 7 a.m., but we still slept very well. The views were also pleasant. Since it is beside a cemetery, behave respectfully: keep the area clean and quiet.
Staying one night caused no problems. It was very quiet, and vehicles seldom used this road.
We spent a very peaceful night, with no services. Recommended.
Quiet place a little away from the road, plenty of space available, beautiful view of the mountains in the morning.
One of the few places along the A87 that is not directly beside the road. It is the car park of Clachan Duich burial ground (a First World War memorial and cemetery next to a ruined church). Spacious and surrounded by mountains and waterfalls. No indication of any restrictions.
Quiet... few mosquitoes... beautiful surroundings. It is on a road occasionally used to reach a campsite. You can also explore the area and stretch your legs nicely. We are glad we found it.
