Grosswintersberg, 67110, Niederbronn-les-Bains
Been here?
This is a quiet forest clearing at the highest point of the Northern Vosges, with an unobstructed view from its tower. Overnight stays were accepted by the ranger, provided no fire is made, including in a fire bowl. The access road is narrow and steep, reaching 13 percent, and the place can be busy during the day. The tower is a notable feature.

Magnificent place, very quiet.Translating
The forester came by and kindly explained that he was fine with us spending the night there, but that under no circumstances should we make a fire, even in fire bowls, because of the forest-fire danger. Otherwise, a beautiful, though busy, place. During the day, many hikers, mountain bikers and trail runners pass by. Occasionally, young people also come at night.Translating
