Fjord views, long gravel access

Very beautiful view after crossing a magnificent forest. Go all the way to the top; we did it with a 6.6 m motorhome plus bike rack. Unfortunately, a first motorhome was already parked across the view, even though there is room in the other direction for two motorhomes or three vans. A little sharing and consideration, please. Keep this place extremely clean and respect it.✦Translating

After descending, our tire began making a loud squeaking noise, so continuing was unwise. A small stone had lodged between the brake and its shield. Try reversing while braking, then raise the vehicle and rotate the wheel to dislodge it from behind the shield; as a last resort, remove the wheel. We fixed it ourselves, whereas an ADAC callout would have cost €1,000.✦Translating

Outstanding scenery and a quiet setting, apart from the nearby stream, which is also a water source. Several beautiful hikes start here. Some hikers leave their cars during the day, but only two vehicles were present while we stayed. Across our two nights, another camper appeared for one night. The access road is a well-maintained 7-kilometre gravel route climbing 600 metres.✦Translating

We stop here on every journey to go hiking and spend the night; it is still a dream. The gate is there to protect the animals that roam freely here: open it, drive through and close it again. There are no facilities, so you should bring everything, including a toilet!✦Translating

It’s really great here. The view is spectacular! One of the best places on our tour. Six kilometres of gravel road up the mountain, but easily driveable.✦Translating

Breathtaking view. We were completely alone here. Unfortunately, there were many horseflies, so we could only stay outside shortly before sunset. We drove on immediately in the morning.✦Translating

Basically, the spot is quite good, and if there is no fog you also get a great view of the fjord. Yes, there is a gate below, but it is not locked, and a sign—which you can only see from inside—says simply to close the gate again. Yes, it is more comfortable to drive up in a 4x4, but if you can drive, it is not essential. I found the road very easy. I will still return, because without the view in question the spot is not worthwhile.✦Translating

Wonderful and, above all, very quiet place. A little colder than below and sometimes very windy, but it is worth it. The road up is an adventure :-)✦Translating

Dreamlike view of the fjord. Nobody except us was there, and no one came hiking. There was a place for a small campfire. Simply open and close the gate below. The road is a little steeper, but it was easy.✦Translating

A great location. If the upper area is full, use the larger parking lot a few hundred metres farther down. It is quiet, offers excellent walking and spectacular views, and has good 4G reception. If this seems like a difficult forest road for a motorhome, you have not encountered a truly challenging one yet: it is very easy, with plenty of places to pass.✦Translating

An idyllic spot, an incredible view, and accessible trailheads. Top-notch, once we dared to open the gate. We checked carefully: there is no prohibition on vehicle access. Only fires are forbidden. We also crossed paths with several walkers’ vehicles in the late afternoon. Recommended for those who handle their van well. When you meet someone, you have to reverse along the winding forest track.✦Translating

If you want to hike here the next day, the place is ideal. But I would not recommend it just for spending the night. 7 km of gravel road, only one vehicle wide.✦Translating
