Free overnight parking, late car noise

A large car park where we stayed one night during the Bristol Balloon Fiesta. Only three other vans were present. I would have awarded five stars, except two young men spent from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. racing a Corsa and performing handbrake turns. Without them, it would have been perfect. We stayed several days; parking is free overnight through Monday. We took the train to Bristol for a day, then Bath the next day, with return tickets costing £5. There is some road noise but nothing disruptive, and the area only becomes busy around 9 a.m. The surface is very uneven, although larger vans may still find parking here easier than driving into Bristol city centre.✦Translating

A sizeable council-run car park that is surprisingly peaceful at night. Dog walkers and local workers use it mainly. There are bins and strong 4G reception. Apart from occasional comments from young people, locals seem unconcerned. Recommended.✦Translating
