Been here?
A spacious, peaceful farm-stay campsite on 2 hectares, located 6 km from Tavira and close to Santo Estêvão, Santa Catarina and the A22. Parking has no designated pitches, so guests must leave considerate space for others; electricity, water, Wi-Fi and pool use are included for €12 per night. There is a waste-disposal area, common room, laundry equipment and recreational facilities, but no toilets or showers. Dogs may bark during part of the night, sometimes continuously, although the owners are helpful and welcoming.

An excellent place to spend one night or several days. Everything is included: 16-amp electricity and water for €12 per night. Thanks to Momo for all his advice; we will be back.
Warm welcome, peace and tranquillity prevail. Spacious pitches without boundaries, only €12 per night including electricity, water, swimming pool and use of the common area. The very kind and helpful owners helped us solve a problem with our motorhome! Highly recommended!
Very nice site with electricity and a small pool with pool shower. Good value for money. No sanitary facilities, but there is a service point for filling and emptying. A freezer can also be used.
Simple, pleasant, and reasonably priced. We have stayed here three times for one or two nights. Showers would be a welcome addition. On our latest visit, dogs barked continuously throughout the night, leaving us unable to sleep. Such a shame.
I really enjoyed my stay. The hardworking host went above and beyond, including helping with the washing machine. I strongly recommend it as a gentle stop before the busy Algarve.
Magnificent place, but there is a downside: the dogs bark for part of the night. Really a shame.
We spent one night here in May. It is basic but worthwhile, with a common room containing table-tennis and pool tables, laundry facilities, and gym equipment available to borrow. Electricity and water are included. I would have given five stars if more facilities were provided, though we knew beforehand what was unavailable. It would have been nice if the pool had been open.
We are finishing our Portugal road trip in style. Warm welcome, Momo’s advice is top-notch, and he is always available. Thank you.
The site is still being developed but is progressing toward a five-star campsite. There are no toilets or showers, yet everything else needed is available, along with a friendly host. Pitches are spacious, have electricity, and offer pleasant scenery. Access is easy. We would have stayed longer if possible.
Pleasant, spacious site. We really appreciated Momo’s welcome and kindness. Always ready to help or give advice. We recommend this place.
Thanks to Momo for his warm welcome.
Super-friendly welcome. Momo will show you around the camp and give you plenty of good tips for the surrounding area. It is quiet, even though the dog sometimes barks at night. A stopover just the way we like them.
A warm welcome from Momo, who introduced us very well to this lovely site and gave us advice and information... A beautiful waterfall for swimming less than 5 km away A lovely beach 8 km away Cycling on beautiful little roads through orange groves stretching as far as the eye can see Large spaces for motorhomes and trailers Peaceful nights!
A spacious, natural campsite lined with olive trees, unlike any other! Sunsets in the intoxicating scent of the surrounding orange groves, accompanied by crickets chirping and frogs croaking (and the occasional barking dog), provide pure relaxation.
This campsite is very well located for visiting Tavira by bicycle. It is very quiet, and we received a very warm welcome.
We were here at the beginning of March and enjoyed our stay. A really beautiful and generously laid-out site. Tavira is quickly reached by bike, and the town is also worth a visit.
Great place! Stay at the end of November and beginning of December. Spacious pitches and pleasant surroundings. All services work. But what we appreciated most was the lovely welcome from Momo. Such kindness and attentiveness!! Many thanks to him; we will not forget him. Anne and Gauthier
A great site with plenty of space and many pitches to choose from. We would definitely return, especially once the swimming pool is open. The man running it is very friendly and helpful. There are no toilets or showers, but the service area is excellent and has everything necessary. Payment is made through an honesty box. Strongly recommended. Dogs bark as usual, though thankfully not all night; we have experienced much worse.
What a special place. Choose a spot and give each other space. Very friendly owner. Peace, darkness and quiet at night. We would love to come back.
Very lovely place to stay peacefully. The pitches are large and all have electric hook-ups. Reception is available in several languages. Wi-Fi is available only around reception. Close to the beautiful lagoons of the eastern Algarve.
An incredible welcome, a very pleasant place with space for everyone. The caretaker speaks several languages perfectly, including French, and explains all the good tips for the region. The €12 rate includes all services. Pure happiness with no unpleasant surprises. Thanks again!
We like this campsite among the olive trees and have been here several times. €12 from 1 January 2026, including 16A electricity and water, is still fair. The entrance is no longer a problem, and it is now easily manageable even for large vehicles up to 10 metres. Tip: If you appreciate good olive oil, a few kilometres from here at Lagar Santa Catarina you can find a good source; the current price for extra virgin is about €9 per litre.
We have been here for four weeks. The stress of the city is absent, although it is only 6 km away. The site is somewhat developed but predominantly natural. We are happy here and like the overall situation. The owner is friendly and helpful. Pictures say it all.
We were here a year ago. It was good, even with unreliable Wi-Fi, at a price of €10. We had planned to return on 27 December. In view of the new €15 rate and Wi-Fi that is still obsolete as of 1 January, our destination will change. We can pay, but the services need to keep up.
There is no longer any Wi-Fi, but the price remains the same. Otherwise, the site is nothing special and seems rather neglected.
Perfect. One of my favourite campsites so far, and I would happily stay for an extended period. The €10 price includes 16-amp electricity, flexible parking, and lots of natural surroundings.
Spacious site for all types of vehicles, with all services and more. For the washing machine and dryer, you need tokens from the house on the right of the kennel. The owners are charming and helpful.
Good to have visited again after a few years. Still no toilet or shower, but we are self-sufficient, so with the option to empty and fill, it is perfectly fine. The pitches are spacious. And the price including electricity is definitely worth mentioning.
Great pitches; the owner is really making an effort to make the site wonderful for campers. There is table tennis, a pool, seating, and the pitches are fairly level. Thanks for this lovely place :)
A wonderful site in the hills above Tavira, which for us makes a very pleasant and relaxing stop in peace beneath the almond trees. I highly recommend it. You can still enter without problems with a motorhome, trailer and car. The owner is very welcoming and speaks French. Highly recommended.
Lovely quiet place in autumn. It is inexpensive and you can dispose of rubbish, grey water and fill up with fresh water. There is even a refreshing pool! The beautiful Pego do Inferno waterfall is within walking distance. The other two waterfalls linked nearby on Maps were dry when we visited.
We were there at the end of September; of the 50 spaces, 7 were occupied. So it was very quiet. Pleasant and friendly welcome. Large tent where you can play pool, read, play table tennis and do laundry. There is a “pool”, but it is actually a triple hot tub—wonderful for cooling off. You can hear the motorway in the distance, but it is really not disturbing. Barking dogs can be bothersome, especially in the evening and at night.
Rustic but pleasant site. Friendly staff who speak French. The absence of showers and toilets is not a problem. The major downside for us was the incessant barking of the pack of dogs from the site’s kennel, which is why we left.
Great place for peace and relaxation. The lack of showers and toilets did not bother us. Water can be filled up on site, and grey water and toilet waste can be emptied. There is a washing machine on site, and a small pool provides refreshment. Everything is clean and well maintained, with very nice operators. For €10 per night including electricity, it is truly wonderful.
We stayed here for two nights, superb site. Nice welcome, everything perfect with a pool—what more could you want? Highly recommended, and we would gladly return. Opposite is a great walking and dog-walking route.
We left today after spending two nights. Quiet and safe place. Large pitch; I was there with an 8-metre motorhome and trailer without unhitching. €10 including all services—you cannot find better. You need some means of transport. Thank you, Momo, for your very warm welcome and good sightseeing advice. Large covered market every morning except Sunday.
Very good, I recommend it. It does not have sanitary facilities, but we are equipped. The owner speaks French well and gives good advice. It is 6 km from Tavira. I stopped for one day and ended up staying four, with difficulty leaving.
Very beautiful, quiet, pleasant and safe site, with electricity for €10. Highly recommended!
