Unnamed Road, 67350, Morschwiller
Been here?
A viewpoint with a table and barbecue, offering tranquillity and a good view; visitors stayed for 2 days, and paragliders sometimes practise in the evening. Access is by an inclined, loose-gravel dirt track that is very difficult by car and impossible in rain. Tractors can make the area dusty, and local youths have sometimes used it for motorcycle stunts.

Great viewpoint, but access is via a steep dirt track with small stones. Very difficult by car and impossible if it rains. We arrived around 6 p.m.; two tractors had passed. The place becomes very dusty when the tractors pass because the sand is very fine.
We stayed there for two days. Peaceful, with a great view. In the evening, a few paragliders come to practice. The gendarmes passed by without stopping.
The place itself is very nice, but it is frequented by local youths. We were treated to handbrake-turn sessions and various moped stunts. It is their spot, so that's how it is; we preferred to leave. Do not follow the GPS directions, which bring you from the main road and end in a field! Access is via a small paved road from the other side.
