Up to 6.5 metres, you can park at the back on the right, reversing onto the grass, and they don’t issue fines. If you go even slightly over the line, they fine you heavily. We arrived and two motorhomes already had fines, one for being just a few centimetres over.
I didn't read the comments before parking. Too bad, because I was fined 295 DKK for the incorrect position of my vehicle.
The parking lot is not recommended for motorhomes. You have to stay within the white lines, which is impossible with a motorhome. It costs 295 DKK in fines and it is checked constantly.
A magnificent place to visit if you are not traveling by motorhome, since there are no designated spaces for these vehicles. If you stick out beyond the marked limits of the space, you will be fined. I was fined 295 DKK because the rear extended over the grass, even though I did not cross the side or front lines. Be careful of this little gift!
Good parking lot for a lovely walk through the castle park. Payment is only possible via app.
Convenient for visiting the castle, payment is also possible via QR code. It fills up quickly, so it is best to arrive early.
Paid parking but inexpensive and very convenient for visiting the castle. You can overhang at the rear of the spaces while remaining within the lines.
Very nice by the castle, but parking fees apply from 00:00 to 24:00 at 12 DKK per hour. So we looked around the magnificent castle and park and then drove on.
Good for visiting the castle, but the spaces are short. High price.
Parking lot right by the castle. 10 DKK/hour, and it is checked very thoroughly! We had no problem with the length, even though we also stuck out a few centimeters at the rear.
A useful parking place for visiting the castle. Be careful to keep the entire vehicle within the white markings; a photo shows campers fined because their front extended about 20 centimetres beyond the line.
Too much noise from young people and the doorbell ringing all night. Just for the day.
The parking lot should be used intelligently. Do not park across several spaces. Park on the pond side, reversing in, which will allow you to take up as little space as possible. The castle is magnificent and really worth visiting. It is possible to pay for the parking with the app.
