Unnamed Road, 24440, Sainte-Croix
Been here?
Quiet picnic area near a private castle, priory and 12th century church. It has five places with shaded picnic tables and benches, plus recycling bins and a water point at the cemetery entrance. Hiking and mountain-bike trails start nearby, with an explanatory trail panel. Access roads are very narrow, but recent stays have been calm.

Perfect for a peaceful stop. No disturbance for me; quiet place. Thanks to the municipality.
Really quiet place, accessed via very narrow roads, but it is worth it. The church is very beautiful and its door was open, which is becoming less common in the countryside.
In agreement with the previous comments. Five spaces, with tables and recycling bins. Useful information boards because the site is somewhat sloped. Explanatory sign for hiking trails (walking and mountain biking).
