Very nice campsite on the shore of Lake Winkler, with a private beach and all services. Spotlessly clean bathrooms, everything around is well maintained, and there is a nice bar and restaurant. Super friendly welcome. Price €59 per night with electricity. Booking is recommended.

A friendly operator welcomed us after his lunch break. The pitches themselves are small, about 7 m; if you are longer, you use two and pay an extra charge for oversize vehicles. Unfortunately, there is little shade, but there is access to the lake on the other side of the road. The sanitary building is great, super clean and modern. The price may be a little high, but it is okay for one night.

Pitches very small. Basically just several meadow plots plus a washroom (which is really nice and clean). Overall too expensive, and cash payment only.

For us, the pitch deserves 3 stars, no more. Showers and toilets very clean. 5 stars. Pitches very uneven and somewhat confusing; park wherever you like, it is more like an ordinary meadow. Absolutely overpriced for what you get. We drove a few kilometers farther and found a top-class pitch at a campsite with a lake view for half the price.

Marked-out lawn area with a great new, clean washroom. The lake is about 100 m away; the campsite has its own sunbathing lawn. We stayed here for one night while passing through.

Great place for a campervan (we stayed 3 nights); the new toilet building is spotlessly clean and is maintained by a wonderful, kind man who cleans extremely well….. We had a lovely boat trip on Lake Mittelstadt and picked up some delicious pizza. The owner may seem “stiff,” but he is extremely helpful and friendly—it all depends on how you approach someone, after all. When we are in the area again, we will stay here again.

The place exceeded our expectations: genuinely lovely and cleaner than anywhere we have seen. Ten stars for that. Nearby there is a campsite lake with boat rental, a children’s playground, mini-golf and a decent restaurant. We will return.

It is not really a campsite. It is a meadow with a sanitary hut. We stayed there for one night. We arrived in the evening and left before 11 o’clock. The four of us paid just under €80. The price is overpriced. The staff, however, were friendly—the toilets and showers were very clean.

Very small pitches and the electrical post was very far from the pitch. Clean and fresh toilets. Cash only and very expensive. But helpful staff.

Far too expensive: €69. Private beach closed from 17:00. We reserved a table at the restaurant for 19:00. We arrived at 19:05, and they shouted at us from downstairs that we were late and that it was now closed; they had only been waiting for us. We went to Restaurant Ertl instead—very friendly and delicious. At 21:00 there was no hot water in the showers, only a trickle. Unfriendly, impersonal, too expensive. NEVER AGAIN!

Sanitary facilities and site maintenance excellent, with great lake access! Very pleasant reception and friendly staff!!!! One star less because the pitches are not directly divided. Otherwise, tip-top! We will certainly come again! Thank you for the lovely time!

Good space. Nice and fresh. Newly built facility with toilet, shower, dishwashing area and washing machine. €56 for two adults and one child.

Pitch too small, too expensive: €55 for one night for 2 people and 1 dog. They also skimped on electrical connections (cables running criss-cross, “6 A”). Sanitary facilities are new and okay. And the claim that it is quiet, as some people write here, is not entirely true during the week :(

Nice, uncomplicated campsite for one or two nights; rather unsuitable for larger vehicles because the pitches are small. Sanitary facilities very nice and clean. The lake is on the other side of the road, but it is pleasant to enter and clean. We had a peaceful stay. Good for stopping en route to Croatia or Italy.

Clean washroom, friendly reception and quiet location. We arrived without a reservation and had enough space with our 5.40 m camper. The prices are reasonable for the season and location. Sites around the lake are considerably more expensive. We will be back.

New and clean washroom. The site is far too small. There are small lines on the ground to mark the boundaries, but most vehicles do not fit. For caravans and tents, cars had to be parked outside the camp. €75 for a panel van with 3 people and a dog. Much too expensive and too cramped (turning 2 spaces into 1). No room to maneuver when the site is full. Beach area hidden on the other side of the road.

Simple square meadow without any shade. The sign on the motorway says that nice spaces are still available. Please do not fall for it. We deliberately left the motorway, but on site there was only a sign saying it was full. You cannot even stay one night in the parking lot in front, although there really were spaces available.

Small site directly by the lake. Good location and easy to reach from the motorway. The entrance is only passable with some difficulty, but manageable with a bit of handling experience (WW). Expensive, yes, but very new and clean. Arrive before 16:00 on weekends, otherwise finding a space may be difficult. We’ll be back...
