Brand-new and very clean facilities. Very friendly welcome. Swimming pool right next door. Well-shaded pitches. The only drawback is that there is no grey-water disposal, so remember to do it before coming. Toilet and water filling are fine.✦Translating

Very disappointing for a four-star campsite! Laundry sinks and dishwashing sinks dirty, no toilet paper (four stars?), Wi-Fi doesn’t work, level pitches hard to find and need mowing, bar closed, very minimal grocery shop, etc., etc. At almost €24, you would expect better.✦Translating

Very warm welcome. Very quiet, very clean. We cannot empty black or grey water due to an arrangement with the Camping-Car Park next door, which imposed this condition so that Val de St Jean would not compete with them! What a shame.✦Translating

We were the only campers on the large site in the low season! We were very satisfied! Large pitches, nicely laid out on the hillside. Large, very clean sanitary area. Great surroundings with small walks around the lake. Mauriac is 25 minutes away on foot. Two supermarkets and a small-town atmosphere. At €14.60 per night including unlimited electricity, very good value for money!✦Translating

I had a preconceived notion about municipal campsites, but this one is honestly excellent: quiet, peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere, very clean facilities, shaded pitches, reasonable price—€66 for 2 nights, 2 adults, 1 teenager and electricity—free access to the swimming pool. However, the lake is polluted and dangerous for humans, especially animals. Do not let them swim.✦Translating
