Beware: BREAK-IN RISK. Two teenagers broke into our motorhome through the roof window using a scooter. This also happened yesterday, a local resident told us. Her car had also been broken into. So the fact that it is a quiet residential area does not mean anything.

This is only a courtesy parking area on the outskirts of the city, by local houses. It is indeed quiet and feels safe.
It’s not easy to park for free in Montpellier, but you’ve found the place. The tram is not far away and it’s a fairly quiet spot.
We parked here during the day with our motorhome to visit Montpellier and it was great. In 30 minutes you are in the centre with tram line 3, which takes 20 minutes. Quiet, residential place with green areas nearby for walking the dog and a small playground.
