10610, Cabezuela del Valle
Been here?
This is a shaded roadside picnic stop with tables and benches, beside a stream and 10 minutes walk from Cabezuela del Valle’s natural pool. The drinking-water tap cannot currently be used, the swings are no longer there, and recent reports mention considerable litter. The road is close, although nighttime traffic is limited and several motorhomes have stayed. It is a cool, pleasant place for a daytime break.

A shame, because the park is full of rubbish and the water tap cannot be used. On the other hand, there is plenty of shade and coolness for relaxing and having a picnic. I slept alongside several other motorhomes. It’s next to the road, but at night that isn’t a problem.Translating
A nice place for a short stop, but we didn’t stay overnight because it is next to the road.Translating
There are no longer any swings ☹️Translating
Lay-by next to the road. We spent one night and the rubbish truck arrived to empty the bin. There is a park with tables for eating and a drinking fountain.Translating
Next to the road, but an oasis. Very peaceful, not many cars pass at night and you can hear the river. We had a very good night. Peugeot Boxer L1H2.Translating
Excellent place for picnics. You can see cherry trees in the distance, and there is incredible wildlife. While walking along the stream, a toad appeared to greet us at the picnic area—biblical in size!Translating
Next to the river. There is no longer a children’s playground.Translating
We arrived at night and the place felt creepy, but we decided to stay; we were the only ones there. Some passing cars were annoying because it is very close to the road, although the road is not very busy. In the morning we got a positive surprise: the place was peaceful, with grass, picnic tables and a play area. The stream running through it is dry and there is lots of shade. It’s for spending the night and not much more.Translating
